Ham & potatoes au gratin-
Take some leftover ham (good stuff, like leftover honey basted spiral cut ham) and fry it for a short time in a cast iron frying pan to carmelize it. Empty the pan, and use it for making a roux, then add half&half or cream (or canned milk) and a good sharp cheddar to make a cheese sauce. Halfway pre-cook some potatoes (I like using buttery new potatoes, but just about anything would work), slice them into 1/2" slices, add to a casserole and mix with sauce. Top with the ham and bake.
