Same here, I've got clients that use them. They just look so clunky, and this keyboard is so sexy, I was somewhat offended! :p

Clunky they may be.....they still arenty your typical keyboard...and DO stick out :p What exactly do they do that regular keyboards don't? Ive never taken the time to ask one of these guys :p And whats the deal with the biomtric scanner on them?

Man, every computer part is becoming more and more expensive.

I'm guessing this keyboard will be $100+.

Remember when you could buy a decent aluminum case + power supply for under $70. Now it's like $120 for the case and $90 for the PSU.

Keyboards used to be free or 10 for $1 or some crazy sh!t like that. Now this comes out and it will be like $100. Same with mice, used to be a dime a dozen...now $30+

Sh!t....I'm gonna run out of money soon b/c this is one damn awesome keyboard.

The finger scanner is for logging into Bloomberg. The color coded keys are shortcuts for navigation, actions, market sectors, etc. I think it's antiquated, but traders live and die by it.

ah, figured as such. It does look pretty old but all the old times are actually the only people who use it :p

Wow - that's a great idea. This would definitely be worthwhile if they could produce it for less than $100, and developed software to allow easy on-the-fly setup of alternative layouts.

Oh, man. If the software to change the keys is open sourced... I'd get one for sure.

Such an awesome idea.
