You and the rest of the leftist on this forum are wrong on everything else so this is no surprise.

If you guys on the right have all the answers then why is your party shrinking into nonexistence?

Because the left buys votes by giving out handouts. It is very east to spend someone elses money.

i am wondering whose money is being used for war in iraq and afghanistan.. i think its that same "someone else"... i would rather see my tax dollar get used in this country than be used to in some other country.

Looks like Senator Snowe actually gives a shit about Americans. I bet she will be crucified by the GOP and the rightwing blowhards. I think Baucas's bill needs alot of work but at least the healthcare legislation will move to the floor now. Looks like President Obama is one step closer to achieving the once thought unachievable...suck on that righties ;)

Its nice to see that you put sticking it to the rightings as the reason you support this worthless bill. 'It needs a lot of work' but as long as the righties 'suck on it' you support it. I guess I changed my mind about the Democrat party.. I used to think some of you weren't partisan hacks.. I was wrong.

If you had read the article, no GOP votes were necessary but I found it fascinating that someone on the GOP was willing to come together in good faith on the broken healthcare system in this nation. I can see where you would have a problem with this...

My support of non-support of legislation is based solely on its content and not the party that authors it. This bill is a worthless bucket of shit and I wouldn't support it if a GOP person wrote it. Well, for that matter.. NOBODY has written this bill its not even available yet.. they are voting on vaporware at this point. But again, that fact that YOU seem to support it primarily because it sticks it to the GOP tells me you are nothing but a partisan hack.

Says the guy who trolls every P&N thread with jabs at Obama? Pot. Kettle. Black.

When Obama does something I support I won't jab at him. Since he pretty much hasn't accomplished anything at this point I have nothing to praise him on.

whata crock of shit.....you wouldn`t support anything Obama does and you know it. You would find some other reason to be a douche bag!!

What alternate form of reality do you live in? I will let you in on a little secret...the Right preaches conservatism but they fucking spend money like drunk'in sailors too...

It's not the GOP who is currently crucifying her.

Democrats chastise Snowe over health care 'infuence'

Some key quotes:

House Democrats, meanwhile, wasted no time in blasting Snowe's recent influence in the controversial debate.
"This is the United States of America. This is not the United States of Maine," said Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-California. "I mean that one senator cannot hold the entire nation's health care plan hostage."
"The idea that we are going to succumb to the insurance industry's fears and then do a trigger, which means that our constituency -- the American people -- will delay in getting a public option, that's like the house of cards just collapsing on top of us," she said.

I applaud Snowe for keeping the public option on the table, but also giving insurance companies a window to change their tone...which could potentially eliminate the need for a large government run bureaucratic solution.

She is a RINO, but that is reflective of her constituency. Obama needs Snowe engaged so that the Democrats can claim some semblance of bipartisanship.

Republican colleagues, however, have remained mostly silent on Snowe's vote.
You are wrong about the GOP. They are sitting back and letting the far left and moderate Democrats tear one another apart. Why do some Democrats need for their to be a large bureaucratic solution to health care, when a trigger or phased approach is far more cautious, responsible and manageable?
