Yeah, I admit their "free popcorn" commercial made me curious. I went to the website, and my "free popcorn" only costs $6!
Then I saw the prices for their non-free products...

How the heck does your description even work? Microwave bags have a very thin film of metal built into the bottom of the bag to get hot and pop the popcorn. Popcorn is dehydrated, so how could it possibly pop on its own in the microwave without something to heat it?

I make organic microwave popcorn, all natural, no added "butter flavour" or whatever, then I add my own real, melted butter on top. It's delicious.

Uh oh! Sounds like someone's got the property tax blues!! :Q :p

I didn't pick up any popcorn, so the paper bag popcorn test will have to wait. I'm sure I can find something to burn in the meantime.

I have a hot air popper and only use Orville Redenbocker kernals. They do pop bigger. I melt butter o nthe stove and add salt as I mix i nthe butter. I even have a nice popcorn bowl that I got for X-mas several years ago.

Same here. Hot air poppers are the only way to go. Microwave popcorn usually = burnt kernals and leeched flavor

Hot air popper. Melt butter, allow butter to cool slightly. Good to go. Add Reese's Pieces for flavor.

I have used paper bags for years to make popcorn. You have to watch out for over cooking it though.

Erm, how do you think pan-popped popcorn gets popped?
