Good luck defending yourself if a cop sees that and gives you a ticket. Most states have laws stating that 55W is the maximum output allowed by foglights. This is for the same reason that you're not supposed to use your high beams in fog, too much light can get reflected back at you by the fog and limit your vision further then the fog already has by itself. Also try defending your use of foglights while there is a no-fog condition on the roads, also illegal pretty much everywhere.

If someone is tailgating, I usually just downshift two gears and let off the gas. They end up slamming on their breakes because they think my break lights are out.

I don't know where the hell you live, but around where I live, half of the cars have headlights that are out of adjustment and shine straight ahead or up instead of at an angle towards the ground.

My friend and I were in his STI driving around on of the local car spots one saturday evening. I was driving and a Neon was behind us with >100W PIAA driving lights mounted in his lower bumper opening, turned on and aimed up to shine into peoples mirrors.

As luck would have it, we were coming up to a red light in the turn lane and there was a cop in the left lane. I rolled down the passenger side window and told the cop that the guys in the Neon behind us have driving lights turned on and aimed up and they were shining right in my mirror and that they were going to blind someone and cause an accident. He looked back at the Neon and nodded in agreement with me. As we rolled up to the light, the cop stopped where he was and when the Neon came up next to him and blipped his siren to get their attention. He must have told them to turn the lights off or threatened them with a ticket or something because shortly after I heard the siren blip, they turned the driving lights off :D

Particularly if they are one of those idiots that can't seem to see the road without their headlights, foglights, driving lights and fvcking cigarette lighter lit up in my mirrors.

you do know most MODERN cars all have these lights SET ON BY THE FACTORY when the Ignition is turned on these days retard..

just becasue your driving a 1950 edsel doesnt mean the rest of us are..
in my eyes this makes you the retard / inconsiderate prick not the speeder in the modern car.

No they don't, retard. In many states, it is illegal to drive with extra lights on if the conditions do not allow it. Example: Driving lights on while on a well-lit road can get you a ticket for excessive lighting. Same goes for fog lights when there is a no-fog condition. Therefore, there must be a switch to turn off pretty much all of the non-essential lights, save the DRLs.

My 02 LEXUS LS430 = DRL but no off switch. so to answer your statement u just got PWNED. all the new camrys = DRL and no OFF Switch.

DRL are less brighter then regular lights. There about 15-25Watts compared to the standard 55W for regular halogens. And if DRL are blinding u when there from behind, then ur eyes are probably wierd and ur probably on E where ur eyes are majorly dialated.

Well we were driving down the highway and some idiot was doing 100 and came right up on our ass and wouldn't back up... So he pushes down the clutch, gives it a bunch of gas and flips the switch, a 20 foot flame shoots out and over the hood of the car behind us... the guy slammed on his breaks and stayed like 20 car lengths behind us.

thats a 007 moment if you know what i mean.

That's my biggest pet peeve.

Stop signs don't mean stop anymore. They mean, "if you see someone coming doing 55 mph, step on it and get out there before they get in front of you. Dont worry about hurrying if you get your bumper out past the line your good, if they hit you you can sue."

Coming from a stop sign pisses me off too. When I leave a stop sign on a turn with traffic coming up fast behind me in the cross street I step on and and speed up to match the speed of traffic so as not to be rude. But it never fails, someone gets offended that you matched their speed from a stop so the whole time they are accelerating even faster, still intent on riding your ass no matter what. For example if I see traffic doing 45 mph coming down the cross street I pull away from the stop sign and get to 45 quickly. But the person who was going 45 mph gets pissed off that they couldnt race me to the stop sign so next thing I know they are doing 65 mph and riding my ass.

Also when said street goes to two lanes and stops at a light, sure enough they slam over into the other lane wanting to race, still butt hurt. This is usually a good time to hurt their ears (and ego) with some twin screw supercharger lovin.

Reading is fundamental. Go read what I said again. At the bottom I specifically said "save the DRLs". That means, except for DRLs. Looks like you just got pwned. Jackass.
