BTW Canada is very selective on who we allow in our borders.
We receive more immigration applications if not as many as the United States. Plain and simple, if you cannot prove you hae some sort of merit (own a business, work history in your living country, student) then you're not welcome here.

End of story. Points system, that's why we don't have welfare leeches like those immigrants who abuse the system, and lets be realistic, it's more like 90 percent of them that do it. Hell if I had choice to ge tpaid more to do nothing than work I'D DO IT TOO

Honestly, I don't think this is entirely a republican/democrat issue as people from both sides seem to be conflicted.......anyone that can't withhold the law needs to be voted out of office reguardless of party and Bush needs to go......
