yea college ftw. just make sure you keep up with what you have to do. I know people that partied too much and can't come back this year.

QFT. I also know a guy who got drunk every night of the week and ended up knocking up some random chick on a one night stand. Now he's engaged to her, and he's got good intentions, but I sure as hell don't want his life right now.

slept in girls dorm? wouldn't be better to have them sleep in your dorm? more fun with hidden cams and walk of shame.

I've slept in a girl's dorm before. There is nothing like coming out of your room with a bunch of FINE ASS BITCHES walking around and you're the only stud.

Lol. We only have one girls' dorm on campus. The remaining is all co-ed by floor and about 1/3 are co-ed by room. Seeing hot chicks in towels every day = win. 😀

Yay, a closer look at the future face of Americans. You'll probably get a career denying me a mortgage or my social security some day.

I enjoyed college, but living off campus was definitely way better.

My freshman dorm was only two floors - guys on the first floor, girls on the second. We had air conditioning (unlike a bunch of other dorms). We didn't have any type of co-ed curfew, but my RA was a stickler for drugs and alcohol. My neighbors got busted for pot the 2nd day we were there. Other guys got busted for alcohol several times throughout the year. It was definitely fun being near so many people my own age and partying, but I got pretty tired of the party scene after a semester.

I moved off campus with 3 of my buddies for the rest of my college career. It was much more fun having a kitchen and living room and balcony, having a private bathroom, having my own bedroom, not worrying about stupid rules, etc.

damn that sucks. OP, whatever you do, don't get tied down to one chick. I did it for almost all of last year and it was a big waste of time. There are so many girls out there, don't waste your time on just one. It's a lot easier and there are a lot less headaches.

Jesus, that's pretty terrible. 🙁

Still, I hate bitter comics. People who are mediocre will stay mediocre even if they had a hundred degrees.

They're not bitter comics, they're chronicling the life of a grad student. It's not funny to you, because you haven't lived it. I've read almost that entire strip, and there were very few of them that I haven't lived. It's just a different lifestyle.

This

The Navy was better when I was a Petty Officer. It was the only place for women (at the time) to go to boot camp, and they were supposed to salute all petty officers. Best duty station ever.

They graduated every two weeks, it was so much fun being a petty officer...

School hasn't even started yet, and already I'm having more fun than ever in my life.

I've slept in three different girls' dorms, ran from the cops, got caught by the cops, gotten a job that's two bucks above what I make now, and have been having a fucking blast on campus.

This is insane. I love this shit.

Hell yes! My first semester was Fall 1999...10 years & two schools later, I'm still loving it. 😀

What?

My freshman year, the first floor of the dorm the guy's side were all triples, and each had their own private bathroom inside, whereas all other units had community bathrooms (though they upgraded that building to a block of community bathrooms, but private with a toilet, sink, and shower in each bathroom unit.
but moving on... yeah, our room was literally right next to the floor RA. And right next to her room was the building RA.

He was a douche, but our floor RA was awesome. Apparently alcohol has a smell, and our RA didn't give two shits about us drinking as long as we weren't stupid. She always saw the bud light box next to our mini fridge and just laughed, or our bottles. But she'd walk by and knock on the door and tell us to watch out if the other RAs were patrolling or if she could smell it.
What was never smelled was the best part - that little bathroom got used for things.

My current school year building is also awesome. It's an apartment-style dorm, each unit has a full kitchen and living room, and two two-person bedrooms attached, each with their own personal bathroom, which are really nice too. 5 floors, and the two RAs have either 2 or 3 floors. Drinking is basically something none of them care about. Hell, we had a permanent ping pong table set up for beer pong, and played it all the time.
Once we had a complex RA come in and card everyone because one of the guys walked around the building with a can of beer and they didn't like that, but nothing came of that since everyone was of age, thankfully. Next year I'm going to have to be careful, because my old roommates are graduating, and I only know the person who will be sharing my room next year, and he's not of age yet. Hopefully the other two like to party, or else next year might be awkward and boring. Last year was probably a little too fun, didn't do so hot because I have terrible self discipline.

Which buildings are/were you in?

I loved my off-campus apartment infinitely more than my dorm, but I'm glad I lived on campus freshman year... I made some friends in my freshman dorm that I'm still friends with today, 5 years out of college, and those friends were the ones I moved off campus with.
