I think 65-75 is better than the 80's, but if you have to pick an actual decade, 80's beat 60's or 70's

70s had the best music, despite the fact that all of the bands you listed for the 70s were mere "OK". You forgot to include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and many of the best rock bands that have ever existed (and will) that had their peak in the 70s.
