I lose every day. Contrary to popular opinion, Civics are economy cars, not racecars.

aye, I drive a Civic to and the only time I win is at the gas pump.

Raced a 2006 clk500 this morning on my way to work from a stop llight.

We were tied the whole way but he edged me out at the end. The end being where the road went from 2 lanes to 1 he had the lead by < a carlength so i had to back off so not to cause an accident.

🙁

Im a bit distraught over this.

That that sh*t to the racetrack already.

So you're supposed to rub one off while racing? Sounds like a bit of a distraction to me...

😉

"I call it the stranger. What I do is, I sit on my hand for, like, 15, 20 minutes,
until it goes numb. No feeling at all. And then I rub one out. "

BTW OP: Racing in public in the rain? You're an idiot.

i raced an s65amg the other day in my g35 6speed, from the bridge outside the fleet center to chinatown... didn't turn out so well

i think he beat me in 1st gear

there is a big diff racing in the suburbs than in a city. there were no sidestreets intersecting our path or any intersections. I guess a deer could have jumped out of the woods but that was about the biggest danger.

I wasnt impressed by this one in that case. Better road conditions and a longer track I would have taken him. My optimal accelleration comes @ 80+ mph and If I was that close to him carrying 700+ lbs. more curb weight .....thats even worse.

'00 740i - 1/4 mile times: 15.5 sec
'06 CLK500 - 1/4 mile times: 14 sec

Me: 14.3 sec. So do you still wanna race or not?😀

I don't think he was racing. He was accelerating quickly, you were racing.
