Man, you guys are all fvcking gimps. Software? XP Picture manager? Windows has a PICTURE MANGER? What the hell is so hard about plugging in the camera, opening the nice new REMOVABLE STORAGE DEVICE, copying the stuff as you desire, formatting the card, and getting on with life? Hell, I don't even do that anymore, I just slap the card into the card reader and do it that way.

Uh, well, the software keeps me from having to... download the pictures, re-name them, look at the EXIF for the actual date taken, create new folders based on dates, and then seperate the downloaded pics into the appropriate folders.

Fscking Christ. That's what software is supposed to do, make things easier, OK? If I wanted to do it myself, obviously I wouldn't be bitching.

How about you just get rid of Photoshop and learn how to do it the REAL way in the darkroom?!?!

Oh, because Photoshop is much easier? You mean... you don't want to do it yourself?

I wouldn't sweat if I lost mine.
So what the hell do you use then?

Or do you just let your pictures become a jumbled mess in a single folder?

I use the Windows XP digital camera manager and picassa. Try Picassa if you have not already. It is great. The zoombrowser I have is three years old and it is the WORST picture manager ever. Hopefully they have changed that by now.

I like the panarama software, photo stich, but that's it. I use other software to manage my photo album. Google's Picasa2's pretty damn good.
