I lost five pounds!

So, I quit smoking 17 days ago. I am extremely concerned with weight gain associated with the cessation of smoking that I decided to go on a diet.

I signed up for an account with fitday.com. I started tracking all my food and activities. And I am down five pounds already!

This is very encouraging to me. 🙂
I am no longer worried about the typical 5-10 lbs that you gain after you quit smoking.

Does anyone else use this site or something similar to help them?

Congrats on quitting smoking and the weight loss! Two awesome steps towards a healthier lifestyle 🙂

I used to use fitday.com but switched to thedailyplate.com as the latter had more foods in their database that I regularly eat. Both sites are excellent and, IMO, essential tools to tracking your diet.

I went from the dailyplate to fitday just because I thought thedailyplate in conjunction with livestrong.org was wayy to busy. 🙂

Thanks for the congrats! I feel better than have in a long time!
