But I'm cool with other reptiles such as turtles, alligators, and iguanas.....but I CANT STAND snakes!

There is absolutely nothing about snakes that I like, I hate EVERYTHING about them!

Snakes are alright if they don't get in my face. If they stay over there→, I'll stay over here, and we're all cool. I encourage them to stay on my property. Ticks can go fuck themselves. That's the animal I *really* don't like.

We have a fuck ton of wildlife. We have to keep our dog well protected against fleas and ticks.

Snakes play a valuable part of our environment.

They eat vermin ( rats mice etc... )

I have snakes in my yard all the time mostly Black Racers, Corn Snakes, Garter Snakes and an occasional Copperhead.

What I don't have is mice and rats.

Despite the reputation they get from the media, snakes are actually way less hostile and dangerous than most animals.
They generally run from perceived trouble and migrate when humans encroach on their territory. And out in the field they dont normally attack anything they cant eat which usually includes humans, even children.

I've never had an issue with snakes, but if I lived in the south with water moccasins I could see fearing them more. I did save some children from certain death that were playing with a baby rattlesnake once. Probably should have let evolution do it's work.

Do snakes eat ticks?

Usually it's either a black or garter snake around here so no worries there. Typically you have to go into the swampy/wet areas to find anything dangerous.
Things i never kill... snakes, spiders, dragonflies.

Probably preferable to trouser chili.
I think that's the result of the dreaded Snow Snake.... Crawls up your britches and freezes you to death......ughhh you said trouser chili.... nevermind. 😩

Eels, at least some of them, are good eating.

I find it hard to like a mosquito, I don't care what you say.

Flies are pretty much hard to like.

Wasps don't get a lot of love from me.

Amoebas, the kind that give you dysentery, are on my shit list. ;)

TBH, I dislike squirrels. I fight them every year over my garden produce.

Undomesticated rats aren't my idea of a good time. Same with mice.

Fleas and ticks don't get my affection.

Scorpions give me the creeps.

I'm not crazy about spiders. I generally either escort them out of my house or outright assassinate them.

Never really minded snakes but we don't really get the dangerous ones here. I remember picking them up as a kid and playing with them and then my hands would smell funny after. They have an odd coating on their skin.
