So, I get my lunch and am waiting at the elevator for a minute or two. The elevator comes, I get on and hit the button for the 8th floor. As the door closes, I hear an urgent, "Hold that door!" Ever the polite person, I hit the open door button.

Fatty gets in and hits 2....

You wouldn't be so fat if you walked a flight of stairs once in a while!

When I worked at Tivoli a guy in the urinal was so fat that he was out of breath from unzipping and trying to locate his weiner.

Here's something worse. Taking the elevator from 2nd floor to 3rd floor after walking past the escalator going to the 3rd floor.

There's a woman here at the CDC who has to take a couple breaks to catch her breath while walking up a 4% grade that connects two building here. Of course, the ramp is about 100' long, so I can see how this might put some in difficultly.

This is the same woman who constantly has a walking cast on one foot or the other for stress fractures because (as I overheard her say in the elevator one day) she "walks a lot". Uhuh. As in you "walk a lot" to "the refrigerator" to get "more food".

Maybe he was just excited to have an audience for once. :p

So, at a guess, how much does she weigh?

Kill me if I ever lose breath (due to obesity) from entering a building from the parking lot.

Hmm...maybe 250 or so, and she's 5'2" at the most.

Damn. You should just roll her up the incline.

Don't worry - you probably won't be far from death at that point anyway.

Just how you like 'em, huh? ;)

Seriously, working at the CDC, you think she would have some idea that being a fatass = not good. And that moving 100' shouldnt put you out of breath unless it is near vertical, or you are sprinting. Never mind needing to stop to catch your breath...
