you got defective hardware or you are at fault. They work together just fine

yeah if nvidia had truly tried to sabotgae the ati cards then not only would we hear a whole helluva lot more about it.....but the Anandtech guides probably would not be recommending the combo on a regular basis.

Yeah in general there really aren't any problems running ati cards on nforce boards. You can have a big pissy fit at us all you want, but thats not going to help YOU one bit. Try a driver wipe program like 10,000 other people have suggested and stop being a baby.

And try changing your bios settings to alleviate the booting from CD and network...those are pretty common settings nowadays, possibly the are the defaults on your board and you reset the bios some how when changing the card.

Did you run driver cleaner before installing the new card?

I have a Radeon9600 Pro on a Biostar M7NCD (nForce2), and it's very stable :)

Your complaint truly sucks.

Before moaning, try figuring out what went wrong. Like for example, did you have an nVidia card on your system prior to your new ATI card? If so, you're having similar problems everyone has when changing brands. You can do a few things, the cleanest is to just reinstall windows (fresh windows installs make computers happy) or you can just use Driver Cleaner.

I don't know here, I'm kind of waffling on this one. Tons of people using nForce2 boards and ATI cards vs. user error and conspiracy theory. I'll have to get back to you as serious deliberation is required.
