I still want to know how a man born of Middle Eastern parents came out looking like a white European.

I mean, I think you can look at one million men born in the Middle East, of Middle Eastern parents with Middle Eastern heritage, and you won't find a single case where the man looks anything other than Middle Eastern.

It's simply amazing. I guess an ugly Jesus was a non-starter for the organizers.

For the same reason illustrations of New Zealand Maori had tattooed European features. Artistic myopia.

Well, of course he was immune to the sun's rays. Otherwise, He'd gotten skin cancer from His own damn halo.

Has it been established that a) he actively went around with a halo and b) its source of energy was nuclear?

his source of energy would have to be some weird ingfinite energy source that didnt produce heat or else on a infinite timeline the universe would be super super hot as the entropy built up.

On question a: it has been well documented. On question b: I wouldn't have a Jesus any other way. Imagine being the only non-nuclear powered god at Armageddon? You don't go to a gun fight with a shepherd's crook.

Edit: I'm mildly disappointed with the internet. I googled shepherd's crook and martial arts and got nothing of value. :(

Yes, when my daughters can see a grown mans underwear walking around the mall? That needs legislation. As a father that is my opinion. And yes I would feel the same if women did this, but they have enough sense not to. So far.

How do you feel about the legality of bikinis?

Perhaps you have built a cargo cult and found your plane doesn't fly. That would be because in your ignorance you assumed your imitation would fly. Perhaps there are people who can see what you cannot:

THE HUMAN AURA

Every one constantly radiates some kind of a vibration, and consequently is always surrounded by some kind of a mental atmosphere. This is called the aura; it extends from a few inches to a few feet from the body and sometimes even farther. It varies in color and density with the varying degrees of consciousness. In moments of spiritual realization the aura is bright yellow, merging into almost a pure white; and in moments of rage it is dark and murky in appearance. There are as many colors in the aura as there are varying degrees of thought-activity in the mentality.

HALO

The halo which artists have portrayed around the heads of the saints is real, and not an idea of the artists. There is a more pronounced emanation from the head than from any other part of the body, because thought operates through the brain more than through any other part of the human instrument.

It is said that the face of Jesus shone so brightly, at times, that His disciples could not look upon it without becoming blinded by its brilliancy.

Could it be there are more things than you dream of in your philosophy?

Artistic licence. For example, not once did Pontius Pilate say, "dude, what's that behind your head?", or someone might have said, "ah, you've got a light, can I help myself?", or, one might argue that everyone saw it but were all too polite to say anything, and it could have been referred to in gospel that Jesus could read in the dark thanks to his trusty eternal night light, but no.

On question b: I wouldn't have a Jesus any other way. Imagine being the only non-nuclear powered god at Armageddon? You don't go to a gun fight with a shepherd's crook.
It might have worked like a Chakram and so wasn't necessarily nuclear powered.

So what if it's stupid? Does that justify legislation?

Possibly... Pants that sag down so far that it impairs a person's ability to move properly presents a potential danger to the public. A bunch of idiots with drooping pants could cause a stampede, given the right conditions. But since those conditions are so unlikely, no, it does not justify legislation.

So women in heals are a safety hazard? Disabled people are a safety hazard?

I remember when my friends and I used to sag our pants real low, sneak into the cattle yard and unleash the bulls on an unsuspecting populace. What scamps we were!

Do you have any complaints about sagging pants that don't involve mobility during a crisis? Because that's twice now you've brought it up, and I have to tell you, that's among the stupidest things I've ever read in P&N (a forum that has no shortage of stupid things posted daily). It's so mind-bogglingly daft to me that anyone would bring up "well, what if there was a stampede or you had to chase somebody" as a valid reason to complain about someone's attire. You would NEVER do that if you were looking at a group of white professionals in business attire (which is shit for mobility). It wouldn't even cross your mind. "Yes, I realize those pumps accentuate her calves, BUT WHAT IF A LION WERE SET FREE IN THE FINANCIAL DISTRICT?" So why is it that mobility during a crisis is suddenly so important when considering apparel more commonly worn in minority communities? What could it be....

Incidentally, I find sagging to be stupid as well. But come on now. A stampede? Get the fuck outta here.

As a father, I find your rationale lacking.
I guess you only take them swimming at locations where all males wear old-timey swimsuits? Or perhaps you don't ever take them swimming, for fear they see the flesh of a male, or someone's eyes could gaze lustily upon their exposed ankles?

No, no, that sucker was electrical. He just needed a nuclear reaction to generate the 1.21 gigawatts to charge it.

That sounds quite similar to some Japanese/Chinese martial arts disciplines where it is known as universal power internalized and referred to as "kime" (key-may) and in Chinese as "chi" (chee).

I've seen remarkable examples of this both from personally observing this and from viewing a few scientific models that reveal this energy as being something other than latent heat signature.

Like so many other things in life, once you know what to look for, the mysterious becomes as obvious as the tides, magnetic north and CBD. ;)
