I just visited Fox News "comment section."

it's true though lol.. you dont find liberal/democrat people acting that nasty, commenting like they are some sort of keyboard warrior, hiding behind their monitor.

Yet another example of liberal hypocrisy in 3. . . 2. . . 1. . .

my town however is full of drinkin, fightin, jaysus lovers, who identify as hard conservative, turbo-dually drivin' R's, who vote that way because their daddy did. picture Hank Hill.

All that's missing is proclaiming everything/everyone racist. 🙄

Arguing about politics, note arguing - not debating, is one of the most retarded pursuits known to man. Time spent on scratching an itch on your bag is a better use of time.

The real problem isn't the arrogance itself, it's that conservatives mix a lot of ignorance with their arrogance. There aren't too many things more annoying than a person that is demonstrably wrong but still thinks you're the idiot.

Sig worthy

That pretty much describes rural America. I'm a democrat living in a very red part of Illinois.
The tv in the break room is locked on fox news. People glom onto it watching. Hell, one saturday I came in to do some switch maintenance and someone was avidly listening to alex jones.
Seriously, alex jones... wtf...

Tell me about it; I have a good friend in KC who leans heavily to the right. Of late he's been sending links to some of Alex Jones' musings on various topics to which I respond "Dude, step away from the infowars.com website. Think of your sanity!"

OMG... I just visited the Fox News forum and it's like going to a KKK rally. They don't have sub forums like ATOT. You just click on the headline and head to the comment section at the bottom of the page.

Just a bunch of nasty people.

Raw story has to be about the worst, full of hate.

liberals just make posts wanting people to die horrible deaths.

At least all they do is post about it.

Conservatives actually act upon their feelings of hate in the form of shooting minorities and bombing entire civilizations of Brown people off the map.

I gotta stop reading comments, even on more left-slanted sites. The most hateful ones always seem to be the same few people and they have the most political names and avatars... like it's their actual day job.

The biggest problem is that people can never discuss the issues empirically without it delving into a Party War.

It really is. It's impossible to reach consensus when you can't even admit that someone else has a good point due to them being a designated enemy.

Yep. I think both parties have their pros and cons, just like I think most religions have their pros and cons. I can't identify with any of them, because there is always a portion of said group that is saying you have to full on commit to the ideology and denounce the opposing viewpoint regardless if there are merits to it.

Are you part of some kind of "Introduce the Mentally Handicapped to the Wonders of the Internet" program or something?

cite your sources, bro!

--Fausto

Ah yes, phokus and his zinfamous ".txt" replies.

That was annoying.txt

😀

the eff? I would never use such an ignominious slur by responding to your drivel with a, ".txt" post.

I just call you a dingleberry and move on. I only deal with observable evidence.

No, no, you misunderstand. I was calling Phokus's use of ".txt" in his replies infamous and somewhat annoying. Once you reach that Phokus's level annoyance he became zinfamous!* 😀

*sorry if you misunderstood my use of the word that existed prior to your screen name selection several years ago. dont you just love how slick I am?

well, I guess few around here understand that this is the proper derivation of my screen name. it's meant to be:

z-infamous

not: zin-famous.

I've never been trying to claim fame about anything. 😀 (OK, maybe more than famous, but that's another story. :hmm🙂

News website comment sections are cesspools of humanity mostly. No doubt reading fox news or infowars comments will have overtly racist and bigoted people on them. I've done it just kicks once and didn't know if I was on a news site or at a kkk rally. Granted, the most crazy people are usually the loudest but it was kind of disturbing.

Conservatives actually act upon their feelings of hate in the form of shooting minorities and bombing entire civilizations of Brown people off the map.

is that why most of the mass shooters have been liberals?

this little thread right here is about the extent of "nastiness," you'll get from a liberal.

No, you find assholes on both extremes acting like assholes.
