I just put my keyboard in the dishwasher... And it worked!

Its basically dead anyways because the keys stick to the point where I cant type at all really so I put it in the dishwasher I will report back with results

BTW I am 100% serious

To all of you who laughed and mocked me I say to you HAH! it worked I put it in the dishwasher, let it dry open overnight and dried it a little with a hair dryer and it works better than ever!

Dolemite called it. To get it really clean though, be sure to wear your scooby doo swim trunks and be in the tub with a toothbruch to clean between the keys.

scary... Well let us know how it goes. I really hope you werent planning on using that keyboard ever again though.

My Hardware maintenance teacher suggested this the other day. Guess it can't hurt anything as a last resort. Skip the dry cycle.

Next time you take your car through the wash, just roll down the window and hold out the offending hardware.

So far so good I tested the keys that were stickey they sound brand new im gonna let it keep giong cause I pulled hait outta a crack then I will wait and let it dry

I like to use a sandblaster myself. And if that doesnt work, I take it out to the garage, jump up and down on it and cuss at the top of my lungs.
🙂

lol... the solution to so many of lifes little problems.

One of my girlfriend's friends convinced her that he could wash her keyboard in the dishwasher after she spilled soda on it. It didn't work....

Actually you can wash stuff in the dishwasher but like Flashram99 said, skip the dry cycle.
After you wash it, take it apart and let it sit for about a week to dry.
