Jesus I cannot comprehend why Americans don't like stone, it is the measurement above pounds, it's like saying oh I'm x Inches tall rather than using feet.
It is retarded without stones. Agreed.
Stop derailing another thread asshole. No one fucking cares about you or the UK. Knock it off...
For being from the country that invented the language you sure have a poor grasp of it.
It's great that you're taking some initiative, but I think your first step should be to educate yourself on dieting techniques. Simply cutting half your food is a very bad strategy and will (100% certainty) lead to failure. Do some Googling and find some good reliable information, or ask in the H&F subforum for help. You're going to want a real weight loss strategy with proven results.ok so im gonna try to cut out the sugar drinks altogether, and maybe half my food and see how that goes

before cutting your food intake drastically, have you thought about making a list of what you eat and seeing where you can make healthy changes?maybe half my food and see how that goes

False
Cutting your food intake in half (or even more) is a great way to lose weight IF you have the willpower to make it stick.
Good luck brianmanahan
that's a giant "if."False

at 375 lb. its kinda sobering. i gotta lose some weight somehow but hopefully dont have to give up eating the foods i love.
honestly, every attempt I made at weight loss failed until I reconciled with the fact that it's OK to eat whatever I want to -- as long as I do so in moderation. There's no way that can't happen.
You need to seriously examine what and how much you eat and you need to start setting aside an hour a day to excercise. Losing 10lbs a month (120 lbs/yr) is a fairly easy thing to do if you can control your intake.
You would probably do yourself a huge favor to start seeing a dietician or weightloss professional to start off. They can help you work out a plan. After that it's up to you to stick to it.
In addition to cutting down on the soda, I've found that just getting some physical activity like walking in each day helps me lose weight.
