This thread makes me want to do something about my fat ass.

Maybe tomorrow.

I don't know, if you are not too fat, then just love your own body. Fat guys are hotter than skinny pick thin ones any day. :D

I don't know. I really don't care too much. I've leveled off at ~250 and get to eat whatever and drink whatever. But there are times that I think losing about 70 pounds would be pretty nice.

250 is a little too fat unless you are like 6'4...

Ohh I agree. I'm a fat fuck. I know this, just don't really care. Would it be nice to lose some weight, probably. Meh, not really worried about it though.

I've never understood this mentality. Why don't you care?

When I'm out of shape, I always care, unless there are just too many life distractions. Eventually it catches up and I go "damn! wtf!" and start working out again. I'm at that point right now. More energy, more happiness, more productivity - all positive side effects.

since this thread is full of pathetic posts, i'll add one myself.

i'm 5'9 and 160ish now. i probably gained a solid 5-10 lbs during spring break, as i no longer need a belt. ive bee using lousy excuses to avoid the gym, and i could barely run 1.75 miles the other day. pathetic. using another excuse (ok its somewhat legitimate) because i injured myself at the terrain park yesterday while snowboarding. my back is sore as hell. i hope to get back to the gym wed morning though.

I'm not tremendously overweight, but I think I can answer for him. I'm sure he's enjoying life the way he wants to, and doesn't want to run his ass around a track when he could do things he finds more fun. 250# isn't a ridiculous weight, and it shouldn't be holding him back too much. As long as he can get around, and stay out of evryone else's way, I applaud him(or anyone else) for doing what makes him happy, and not giving a shit about other people. The ones that piss me off are the people that whine about being fat, and not doing anything about it, or taking the easy surgical/chemical way out.

I'm just shy of 6'1" and I can "hide" 250 lbs pretty well. Most people wouldn't even place me in the mid 200's when I weighed that. I'm down between 220-225 now since the beginning of the year. I can fit into a size 36, though I need wider legged pants as my legs are quite big.

Yup, that pretty much sums it up. I'm married, I'm far from immobile, I eat what I want when I want. DOn't have to drink shitty 64 calorie beer (shudder). Life is already too short to drink shitty beer, my weight certainly isn't going to hold me back from such pleasure.

Being fit and in shape to be able to enjoy sports for me is a must. I hate running a little bit and not being able to do much then end up going home all sore because I was too lazy during the off season to get my ass off the computer chair and play SC2 all Winter long.

I snowboard during the Winter season but that doesn't burn that many calories. Plus the cold makes you want to pound on the calories for more fat... warmth.. :D

I'm pretty sure Snowboard does burn a decent amount of calories. I mean, you're still trudging through snow carrying some decently heavy equipment, walking around, and afterward, your body burns calories like crazy repairing your joints and muscles.

plus it's cold and your body burns more calories to be warm, regardless of the fact you're wearing thick as fuck clothes.

agreed, snowboarding takes a huge toll on my body at least and i feel the burn after, maybe it's because i really suck at it and only go like twice a year.

I wont ever get big (as in stocky buff). My metabolism is too fast. Im pretty ripped atm but the drinking every night (and late night eating) is taking its toll.

I wish my metabolism was faster, like it was before I hit puberty. Slowed down and I bulked up. I used to be a skinny tiny shit, then hormones came and I became "grande". Where you been drinking?(You're from LA right?)

Stop eating so much shit and go workout. It's not hard.

Don't fatties want to be able to attract members of the opposite sex that don't look like a tub of shit? I would think that would be reason enough to stay in shape. I guess some people have such low self-esteem that they just don't give a fuck. I just can't wrap my head around that mentality.

skinny fucks should GTFO of this thread.

it's more of a mentality of "I've always been fat, I'll always be fat, I might as well enjoy that slice of cake."

At one point in my life I went through a bout of depression and ate nothing but ice cream for months and gained a good amount of weight.

I'm 6'3, 200, so I wouldn't say I'm skinny. I also know that some hard work and determination will change one's appearance monumentally.

But sure, I'll GTFO since I have no idea what I'm talking about. I just have good genes that keep me in shape, what would I know about weight.
