where?
ASIC is 70.7%, not sure if that's good or bad but I can't complain since I am thoroughly satisfied with the performance and I haven't even overclocked yet. What's the ASIC quality and RAM brand?
That was a robbery, lol.heh. the last two cards I had, the Titans, the shop where I bought them from here in Cinci was just some small gaming enthusiast shop.
They had two on the shelf. I asked about buying one at their retail price which was like $1200. Guy was like "Man, if you want both of them, you can have the second one for $500 if you buy the first one at full price just to get them off the shelf... they've been sitting there for a couple months now and no one seems to care."
I couldn't turn down that generous offer, lol.
Sadly, I didn't get the same deal on my recent upgrade to (2) 780ti's from amazon, but oh well. Not a averagely lucky kind of dude, so I'll take the opportunity whenever it arises. =D
I was amazed I was able to get it too. The dude was very nice he drove it all the way to my house and waited while I tested the card (drain loop, insert card, fill, bleed for a bit).Nice deal. Wish I walked into those kinds of deals more often.
Update: Scored another GTX 780 for 350$ over at [H]ardforum. SLi here I come.
Why not: Considering you're spending approx $1000 on your Rig reaching exponential frequencies with low voltages and temps.im also amazed at how many of u guys are watercooling.
seems like its really exploding on the gpu sector.
