You mean, ma'am? :p

Ooooh...you did it in person? Ouch. :D

I used to get called ma'am sometimes on the phone, even though my voice was fairly deep. These days I'm never mistaken for one.

Yikes. A friend introduced me to her sister at a club one night, but her sister looks and dresses very, very, very, very much like a boy. In fact, I'd seen her at the club quite a few times, and always thought she was a guy. So when my friend introduced us, I gave her the three point shake and said "What's up, man?" But the girly voice combined with the delicately soft handshake clued me in, and there was much embarassment to be had.

Thankfully, she didn't hear the "man", and I'm good at hiding embarassment. Nice girl, though. :p

I've never had that problem :) Of course, having a beard and an extremely deep voice kind of makes it difficult to be mistaken for a woman ;)
