I just found out some really bad news

I just found out that my friend has breast cancer, however her family is really poor, and can't afford any doctors or anything. Is there any way to set up a anynomous donation foundation? I have no idea how much treatment for something like this costs, but I've figured that if there ever was a time, now would be it. I just really don't know what to do, and feel really really bad right now.

Low income, their dad is self-employed through a landscaping business, and their insurance sucks so I hear, and won't cover it. Plus all their money is going torwards their brothers medical bills.

agreed.. In the US, poor people that really need medical treatment get handed all sorts of loans they could never pay back. Then, the loans get slashed in half.. Then, most of the loans are just written off.. And illegal immigrants.. they just get everything for free.

I think it is against the law for hospitals to refuse treatment.

I think that they do what needs to be done and then sends bill collectors.

Ok well I gave her the link to the "Getting treatment without insurance". Hopefully she can get some free/cheap treament. Hmm, I guess the best thing now is for people to pray. Idk if they have an estimated time to live yet or not, or how far it's spread.
