I just celebrated my three year anniversary, and I'm scared.

My girlfriend and I have been going out for three years now. Our anniversary falls on October 30th.

What We Did:
1. Went to Toyko Steakhouse to eat dinner.
2. Exchanged presents. I got her a digital camera, she gave me a lot of things with the theme of "three". A picture frame with three photos, three-pack of the gum I like, three candles, etc. I like the creative, sentimental gifts better. This may sound bad on face value, but anything I want I can buy so I do not get really excited for material presents - rather prefer these types of gift.
3. Took some anniversary pictures like we do every year.
4. Watched the Patriots vs. Bills while drinking wine.
5. Alittle action and then bed.

Simple and fun. Three years though... should I be scared?:Q

Obligatory Pictures FTW:
Smiles
Kisses to ATOT

LOL! The series is actually from 1608 to 1620. Do you actually want to see them ALL?

Do you have to ask?

It's just naked pictures, I don't think you'd be interested. This thread is worthless with naked pictures!:)

two months and I'll be at the 3-year mark as well. congrats.

I completely agree with you on the sentimental gifts though - much nicer than store-bought stuff.

Pre-congrats! Married or dating?

She just turned 22 today and I will be 24 this December. I guess marriage is right around the corner if things go right.

Maybe I can delay seeing that corner for a few more years. I don't see myself getting married too young.

glad to hear everything worked out for ya

Thanks quakefiend. This summer was certainly bad and heart-wrenching. I know in our situation, 99% of the time it goes bad. There's always that 1% though that will go against conventional wisdom. I am glad it is getting a lot better now.

Just dating. Not as 'financially independent' as yourself though :p

Marriage is giong to wait until we're both done school (me 5mo., her 3yrs) but yeah, I've thought about it - just not too soon ;)

Pic for the interested
