Geez, OP, you're a biased little b!tch. Why couldn't you show a little maturity and talk directly to your dad first?

Can someone explain to me here why this is considered a GOOD idea? I do not understand your logic. This is a problem between the parents...don't try to play mediator...

/with that said - i'd bet there has been issues along these lines for sometime... Maybe Mom needs to not be a doormat and move on....

Or maybe dad has been a doormat for too long and has finally had his fill. Approaching the father and the woman in the B&N would have been the BEST first move. At least in that situation how they act is far more telling than what they say.

Maybe if OP was like 12 or 13 then I could see him calling mom.. But he is 20 years old... TWENTY, an adult. Talk to your dad first, then when you find out he is a cheat, go home and explain the situation to your mom in a MATURE way.

Because OP just saw his dad talking to a woman. He didn't walk in on them banging away or anything. There could have been a million reasons he was talking to a woman at B & N

BTW your post count just went up by like 1000% in this thread alone 🙂

One needs to know exactly what is going on before they butt themselves into other people's business. Like I already stated, he should have approached his dad and the woman in the B&N because in that situation how they act is more important than what is said. You need to have your facts straight before you start messing with other people's relationship, even if it is your parents. The OP is old enough to understand this concept too. It is obvious he is biased in this situation and just couldn't wait to call his mommy.

Yeah that's cool...

Anyway...I think having that confrontation proved him right...His mom came down and the whole thing blew up...

Embarassment is what the guy deserves for being a cheating c$nt..

HAHAHA yeah, i'd love to see how that unfolds... IF you can get him to admit he was cheating in the first place.

He doesn't have to admit it. If the mom doesn't believe the kid when he tells her, then she deserves whatever comes to her...

Are you effing retarded. I am 21 and if my dad EVER touched my mom it would mean his ass on the floor...

agreed. so what if there was a big scene? who cares, other than the op's dad? from now on, whenever he steps foot into barnes, he'll be the cheating bastard who got caught and embarrassed.

I went to Barnes and Nobles with my buddy and I saw my Dad's car in the parking lot. I went in and there he was with another woman. I called my Mom and she bolted down to B and N and went off on him. She is telling him off right now in the kitchen. My Dad just told my Mom to get her finger out of his face. If my Dad lays ONE finger on my Mom he is going to be bleeding on the floor. :| :| :|

I don't understand why you would even post this. The majority of people on this forum are either too immature to give you solid advice, or too enamored with the idea of making a "shocking" statement and seeing the result. You should call your girlfriend/friend/close relative and talk about this instead of posting it on this cesspool.

yeah, trusting your spouse = "deserve whatever comes to you"

i'm not married, but i'm willing to bet that if someone said that their spouse might be cheating on them in barnes and noble right now, they might have to say that they'd have to see it to believe it.

Just because your dad hits your mom, you should not hit him back. You are still his child. Shield her from him. Protect her, but do not hit your father. He is your father, remember that.

WHAT THE HELL???

Okay so the next time someone get's mad at their dad, they should tell their mother that he spotted the father out cheating?

If Mommy goes and sees Daddy at B&N with another woman (which is COMPLETELY justified as he has apparently done this before), and he can't explain the situation without a conflict, then where is this wrong? If the dad did something wrong, he should be able to explain it, otherwise he is busted...

OK.. i see your point... But I still think he should have talked to his dad first.... Just to make sure he isn't creating something out of nothing...

I didnt say that the kid should lie to his mother. A vigilante child out for revenge is not the case here. Dont confuse the situation.
