i just bought a tweeze

im a hairy guy, but the hair on my back was driving me nuts..

i refused to shave it, cause I didnt want it to grow back even worse..

i was tempted to go have it removed via laser, but its expensive. and I read that even with that, it can still grow back.

Apparently using a tweezer is the cheapest, most effective solution since you pull the hair out with the root.

I was at walmart and I saw a "tweeze" which is a rotating auto tweezer. I thought I'd give it a try.

Damn it hurts. It doesn't feel any different that actually using a tweezer to pull out each hair. But its automatic, and you can pull out hair after hair quickly.

It worked though. after several hours of running the thing up and down my back, its a slick as a baby's bottom.. no hair.. I know it will grow back, but now I've found a way to keep it cleaned up, on my own, without using a razor.

btw, this thing chews up batteries. It killed the included batteries in less than 10 minutes, fully recharged nimh batteries in less than 15, and brand new duracells in less than 15.

TWO HOURS?!!

I mean get it waxed! That's way to long. The price of wasing and the batteries will even out.

How did you reach all the areas of your back, tape it to a stick?

actually tonight, im going to have my roommate check my back for any areas I missed..

im pretty flexible though. and most of the parts that were bad (actual patches of hair that could be over an inch long) i could reach.

but this thing even pulled out peach fuzz.

Haha, you must have some fucked up roommates, you'd have to pay me a hefty sum to gaze at your disgusting back checking for stray hairs.

Shaving does not make hair grow back any thicker BTW.

Why does everyone trust Snopes?

They offer no scientific proof or data on that page. At the bottom of the page they have "source", which includes a bunch of references to newspaper articles. They don't even note which myth the reference is the source.

They say this is a myth: " A sudden shock can turn a head of hair grey overnight"

But then they say that someone who's hair would have gone grey quickly anyway is subjected to horrible news, this is a coincidence? They use Barbara Bush as an example. Her child died and she went grey within a month. But they are saying this is just a coincidence? She was going to go grey anyway at a very rapid rate?!?!? LOL. How the fuck is that proof of anything.

A month is not overnight.

Okay. "Way" is not a sentence. Also, they're dispelling the myth that you could wake up literally the next morning with a full head of gray hair.

Okay. "No" is not a sentence. Neither is "Way". Also, they're dispelling the myth that you could wake up literally the next morning with a full head of gray hair.

NO. WAY. PLEASE.TELL.ME.MORE!!!!!

Does that mean I can't LITERALLY beat your ass within an INCH of your life?

NO.WAY.

Shaving doesn't make hair grow back quicker or fuller - the hair is still growing at the same rate, you've just removed less of it by shaving instead of tweezing.

I could tell you that, because I have the answer, but at this point I'll need payment. This isn't a charity.

Why pay someone who doesn't know that a saying isn't literal in the meaning of "overnight" by definition. That?d be a huge waste of money. It wasn?t even my original point. I asked why people just automatically believe everything Snopes says. Not that they are right and wrong in this instance, but it seems a lot of people believe Snopes.

FYI: The Barbara Mikkelson at the bottom of the article is a housewife that started the web site with her husband.
