aHHHHHHHHH

no i dont want to think about my dog passing away either.

He's going 14 this year.

The only problem he has tho is a yeast infection on the skin once or twice a year, and cronic ear infections.

But i morn for ya, i know im gonna be sad as hell when my dog passes away too.

Yup, I cried like a baby when my first dog, Popcorn, died when she was about 15. She died in my arms :(

I was 21 when she died and I still can't recall ever crying that much before (or ever since). I didn't even cry that much when my grandma died (and I was close to her). Weird :\

Yeah I lost our first dog when she was 17, I was 18 and a senior that year.
I balled like a little school girl that morning before going to school. She was so sweet too, I swear she knew what was going on. We had to put her down because she deserved it, for everything she gave us she deserved a few moments of peace before slipping away. Her body was frail, kidneys starting to fail, just everything (though her heart, think that thing was constructed of future materials. she still had energy that the rest of her body couldn't keep up with).
I left that day for school knowing I wouldn't see her when I came home. Had to take a moment to clear up before walking out the door but was just a bum all day at school.

Sorry to hear about Stumpy. I'm sure Stumpy was loved and well taken care of by you and your family. I lost two dogs this year and know how it feels.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Losing a pet can very easily be like losing a member of the family.

sorry for your loss, but just know your puppy is young and better again.
