My mate had to be put down today. :'( I took those photos just before i had to go out. I knew somthing was up. When i got home, my mum told me that she took Stumpy to the vet and she had a stroke and had to be put down.

Rest in Peace

Don't take her up to the old Indian burial ground. Sometimes... dead is better.

You bastard!! I came in here, was getting all emotional and feeling sad for the OP's loss (we just got a little Mini Schnauzer puppy and I'm an avid dog lover)...

...but I got to your post and burst into laughter.

RIP Stumpy

I don't mean to mock the OP's loss. I've held the needle for a couple of my pets and I'm sorry for your loss. But I maek jokes, I can't help myself.

RIP Stumpy :(

Only time I've cried like a baby, besides when I was a baby, was when I had to put down my pooch mate of 16.5 years.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry, Stumpy. It's never enjoyable losing a dog.

Just remember, nothing can take away the time you spent together.

Me too... I have a precious little shih-tzu named Jessica who will be 12 in April.. I fear that day you just went through

FWIW.. I know Stumpy is up there hoping you get another 4 legged friend to protect you and exercise you and keep you company ASAP

Yup, I cried like a baby when my first dog, Popcorn, died when she was about 15. She died in my arms :(

I was 21 when she died and I still can't recall ever crying that much before (or ever since). I didn't even cry that much when my grandma died (and I was close to her). Weird :\
