I want to change what I said. I don't hate my father, but like notfred's, he is very hard to live with.
He used to be in the military, so I'm sure that has something to do with it now. But things have to be done the way he wants it, you can't be late (even a couple of minutes) for anything - and you always have to be a half-an-hour early, everything has to be neat and tidy - one piece of paper can't be out of place, 80% in school isn't good enough - what happened to the other 20%? It's stuff like that, that makes me feel like nothing I do is good enough, and I think THAT is the hardest thing to live with.
Oh well. One day he will realize that he didn't have to be so hard on me and I'll get the apology and treatment that I've always wanted and deserved. I will NOT however, use it against him and disrespect him for the rest of my life. I just hope that when I get older our relationship improves.
