They let you stay at your desk? 😕

When layoffs come around here, they escort you to your boss for the news, and while you're there, IT comes and logs you off and removes your account, then security walks you back to you desk to get you necessities and they ship you the rest.
 
FOr what reason? Downsizing? Did your emplyer lose a contract with the government?
 
Man that sucks, I am sorry to hear that.

Well don't get down on yourself, get motivated and you'll get another job! Things happen for a reason, things will turn out better probably.

Huh? You're giving this guy a 😕 when really, we should be giving you a 😕.

Your works sounds a little harsh when it comes to terminations. Sure, I can understand it if the person is being terminated based on breaking a law and/or policy but for being laid-off due to lack of work? Give me a break!
