I have yet to taste a better pizza

Bella's ok, but it's a bit crusty for my liking. Their garlic chicken is pretty awesome though. I have it on occasion since there is one a block from my house.

KT

Where is your favorite pizza Keith and I'll give it a try next time I'm in Vancouver. Your area of town is also where my condo is so close to there would be great.

Now that looks absolutely amazing.

wasn't expecting this to be about any place in Portland! Lived here all my life and been to Leonardo's several times - always excellent pizza. Another great Portland place is Flatbread Company on the waterfront in the Old Port.

Ugh. Roundtable is firmly placed somewhere below Pizza Inn in the pizza quality ladder. D:

something(Glass or Wooden?) Nickel in Madison - good stuff

catfish biff's - Ohio State campus

Mama Santa's - Little Italy - Cleveland

Indeed. I just moved to a place right off of Forest ave and have been trying all of their different kinds. Every one has been delicious.

i go to berkeley from time to time... and that looks good. whats the name of the place? i usually go to bobby g's when im there.

Cheeseboard is just a couple blocks north and a much better choice than Bobby G's IMO. And as the other poster said, Zachary's is the deep dish place to go in Berkeley.

Disgusting. Sauce overload! EWwww!!!

Nothing ruins a pizza faster than too much tomato sauce. It is for this reason that I'll always order my pizza with "light sauce" if the place is unknown.

You're a Chicago style noob. Chicago style (my favorite) as the "toppings" on the bottom, a load of cheese, and then the sause on top, all inside a bowl type of crust. It's like a pizza casserole, and it's f***ing delicious! It's also more of a meal type of food than thin crust pizza (you have to eat it on a plate with a fork, and it's best in a restaurant instead of takeout).

local places that no one on ATOT would have any clue about.

there's a place in Harrison, NJ that makes the best sicilian pizza I've ever had anywhere in the world. their sauce is just... indescribable. if they sold it by the bucket, I'd buy it and put it on everything I ate. the down side is that they don't sell it by the slice and it's $30/pie so I can only get it when I've got a bunch of people coming since I could only eat a slice or two myself before it goes stale.

Pizzaland, near where I grew up, is supposed to be amazing and semi-famous since it was on The Sopranos, but I don't care for it myself... the only good thing about it is that it's right next door to a bar, so you can grab a pie or a couple slices and take it next door to eat in the bar.

3rd Vote.

You might as well throw in Sally's, and Modern. New Haven is without a doubt the best place in the world for Pizza.
Definitely one of the best. I live in East Haven, the fourth highest region of Italian-American ancestry in the country (~40%). You don't have to go very far to find great pizza or Italian cuisine, which I love myself, being Italian.

Chicago:

Neapolitan pizza - Coalfire or Sapore di Napoli

Traditional thin crust - La Gondola

Pan - Pequod's

Chicago Style - Lou Malnati's or Pizzeria Due

There are a lot of great pizza places in Brooklyn where I grew up. Hard for me to pick one out of all the places I've been to.

I'm not very picky about pizza, but I generally don't like Chicago style or pizzas loaded up with toppings if I'm talking about quality pizza. I like regular plain slices, Sicilian style onion, and occasionally chicken and pineapple more. Not that I mind all other types.

More small town pizzeria that nobody in AT has probably heard of:

Sportsman's Pizzeria in Wyandotte, MI

After having this guy's pizza I really have issues going back to anyplace else, the list of toppings is outstanding(chorizo on pizza anyone, it's amazing), the dough, the sauce are all great, and if that's not enough, the customer service is absolutely outstanding.
