Of course, this means I will be in the lab some days (need to start research), but dear god, I've never had that much free time.

16 credits - I'd have 20 if they offered kinetics of materials, but there's no one to teach it ><

Haha, congrats. That's how my schedule looked like too when I was in college. I hated morning classes.
 
Is that for Spring Quarter '09 or Fall Semester '09? (I don't know if you're quarter or semester system)

If it's for fall, BOOO!!! You scheduled class during Monday Night Football.

Either way, you voluntarily scheduled class until 9 and 10 o'clock at night. I could be blacked out drunk by then when I was in school.
 
Yeah, I wouldn't claim epic win about having to be in class until 10pm. By the time you get out of class, the party will be rolling, and may have moved on without you. Your friends will be going to bed and you'll be staying up for another 4 hours so you can sleep in... Seems kinda like you screwed yourself actually.

several semesters i never had class before 1 and was out of class by 5

yeah, having to hike across campus in austin in august in 10 minutes might suck, but not as much as early or late classes

College-registered frat parties can run 'till 3am here.., and who knows how long they keep going in dorm rooms..

No, I meant that if his friends stay up until 1 or 2, he'll be staying up until 5 or 6 since he's not going to want to get up before noon... Unless he just gets a lot of sleep, which is an option, but I've never liked sleeping for long periods every night.

just research. i'm going for a combined BS and MS. i just made it through round1 of a kickass scholarship, so i will hopefully have a summer job, a stipend during the next year, a full tuition scholarship for the next year, and a guaranteed job after graduation 🙂
 
That is a pretty sweet schedule.

I remember my freshman year...I didn't have class till 11am or 12pm, and was out by 4.

Was awesome.
 
Man, I was the exact opposite in University. I had all of my classes crammed in the morning so I could be done shortly after lunch.

But whatever floats your boat. Just make sure you don't get on some retarded sleep schedule.

i'm just in the habit of staying up late. i could go to bed early if i wanted to, but i never do.

I hated going to class at 8am. Thus why my earliest is at 9am, which lets me wake up at 8. Course Tuesdays and Thursdays I can sleep in as class isn't until 2 🙂

Same here. I scheduled as early as possible in most cases. That and I had to work too...
 
Class until 10pm? Screeeeew that.

I think my last semester I had no classes before 10:30am and was done by 4:00pm every day. It was badass.
