I have to admit it: Timberlake's first solo effort is quite good!

as an indie-rock fan, i am loath to admit it, but i recently heard cry me a river and i kind of liked it. it's chock full of michael jackson rip-offs which in my book is a good thing. he's got that jackson "angst" thing going too. it's some grade A pop. ;)

Probably not the only thing he and MJ have in common. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?

It is a good album, likely those of you who claim to despise it probably haven't even heard it. Especially if you classify it as pop, that alone proves that either you didn't listen to it, or you don't know jack sh!t about music.
If Deeko likes it then it has to be gay

lmao

your sick, his voice is thin and his music sucks. ditching nsync was the worst decision ever. he sounds alright as part of a group, but not alone.

lol, this is classic.

i don't know, if there's even a slim chance he's even 1% straight, britney would be the girl to bring it out. ;)

Haha, I'm not surprised by the response really. "I like that album." "You're gay!"

No, see, I said I like his album, not that I want to fvck him.

And Deeko, I've listened to the whole thing, and it is pop in my opinion. Sorry. Although I'm curious what'd genre you'd classify it as if not pop.

I guess most of the credit hear should actually go to the Neptunes, who apparently produced it. They also did Missy Elliot's latest album, which I'm not really into, but I still dig a lot of the similar aspects in the production of her and Timberlakes' albums.

Some songs are pretty good. Catchy beats, although I hate when he sings with a super high pitch.

No, I hate his music because it is pop crap. Never met the guy so I can't say if I would hate him or not. Most likely he would be one of those people I would want to punch the first time I meet them.

I uh....well I disagree I guess.

Well, no offense, but I wouldn't question you when it comes to classifying classical music, and you shouldn't question me when it comes to classifying this kind of stuff. If it were pop, ala nsync or BSB, why would hiphop stations give it substantial play?
