Yep your friend is stupid. Until it is you that is getting your ass kicked by a rediculous number of people and he steps out to help you, despite the fact that there isn't a chance in hell of him surviving. I bet your selfish ass would be grateful then. Ah but don't worry, I'm just glad you arn't my friend sitting around calling me stupid.
 
You need to realize that you have a weapon: your car. Your friend was attempting to stop some guy from probably winding up dead. You, sir, should be proud of him.

smart thing to do is to flash high-beam on that group of kids. Watch out though one of the kid may pull out the gun and shot you back.

your friend is an idiot. his actions endangered both of your lifes and you both were lucky that the cop came just in time. fact is your friend won't survive the street one day.

Kill the kids for being animals.
