make the size of each file ~70kb, not 400kb.

That's a good question...hopefully somebody in the board can help you.
I would like to see the deals ahead of time so I can delay or go ahead with what I'm planning to buy.
In the mean time, can you just enumerate it just like what tboo did in his thread.

How can I store the .jpg on Yahoo! Geocites so you guys can look at them? They're about 70-80K. When I upload them to the File Manager, only I can view it.

Can't view it yet. But thanks for the heads up on the WD drive. :)

I wonder if the WD 30 gig is retail? If so, I need it for my backup PC. hehe-Maxtor 40 GB 7200 and WD 30 GB 5400. Now that's a lot of space.

hey burned...unless its extremely hot, i wouldnt get the wd from compusa cuz they are a 1 year warranty(maxtors is 3). kinda seems like a warm deal though.

and yes....cold beer is definetly good

oops...my bad. I had WD and maxtor mixed up. CompUSA repackages maxtors with a 1 year war. Sorry bout that:eek:

Just to let you guys know, I just installed the Adaptec Ez Cd 5.0 Platinum and it is not worth paying for 50 bucks. IF you are using like clone cd, nero, and cdrwin, you are better off with those.

I should be getting scans by Tuesday of Compusa, but if you want to email them to me I can post them for everyone sooner on www.iDealWiz.com with the other ads. After switching web hosts I have have the speed and bandwidth to handle the traffic.

Once I get them I could have them up in minutes if they are good scans or I could optimize them to make them better. LMK

That HP Scanner 4300Cse for $149 is CompUSA's normal price! I used to work there. Definitely NOT HOT!
