I still have to wonder how a Predator can kill a T-X. a Terminator killer. In T3 she was nuked by a T-800. She originally killed the T-800 and screwed up his neural net processor, but John Connor was able to stop him from Terminating him and the T-800 shut its self down.

So how is a Predator going to kill a Terminator again? LOL!

Keep in mind in T1 it was about luck. In T2 and T3 a terminator helps. In T4 another Terminator helps. It's not humans in the movies that can kill a Terminator it's other Terminators. In Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles a plasma gun is used, but the Terminator was able to put himself back together. Kinda stupid though. But Cameron a T-888 that protects John does all the work.

A plasma gun or a barrett sniper rifle to the head will kill a Terminator. Lasers and nukes would do jack. Then you have the HK's and hydrobots to worry about. Skynet is one hell of a mean force to reckon with.

she doesn't do all the work--yes, the humans take them out all the time with sniper rifles.

Again, terminators and humans are able to help people (in the past) because future terminators are actually pretty bad at wiping out humanity. Humans are hiding, but they can very much kill the dumb bastards, and they've been doing it for year before they capture the first time machine. and those are piddly humans. Hell, humans are constantly on the brink of taking the whole thing down because of one dumb punk kid.

Predator has advanced technology, kills a few Aliens for breakfast, then goes on terminator safari when it needs to get its heart rate up.

You have to realize that in all the Universe of warriors, Predator is the Spartan soldier.

Look, you probably missed the epic Terminator vs Predator thread, but it was pretty clearly established that Predator is the dominant warrior across the board. Hell, I was even one of the many that was like "Well, Terminator, duh! It's a robot!" at first. It just seems stupid not to think that at first, but it really doesn't hold water when you realize how brainless terminators have always been.

But when you actually think about it for 5 seconds, Predator outmatches terminator in every aspect. of course they also have planet-traveling spaceships. those flying skynet drones really are no threat.

I don't know what the capabilities of the "planet-traveling" spaceships are, but I have never seen them in action.

Until I see a Predator with a General Dynamics RBS-80 Phased Plasma Pulse Gun or a Westinghouse M-27 Phased Plasma Battle Rifle I highly doubt a lone Predator could take out a T-888 let alone a T-1000 or T-X. :D

Those sound pretty puny, about the same as Sylvester Stallone's penis.

Not even a mention of a Q-switch! For shame!

Now when your (scalar) weapon has the ability to debark a tree fifteen meters from the beam waist when ramping up power*, nothing made from anything on (earth's) periodic table can withstand such a concentration of energy. Castle Bravo, in comparison, is like a mule stepping on a lemon in the parking lot.

Plasma guns are what take down Terminators... :colbert:

A sufficiently powerful laser creating a plasma channel, when directed to an active cumulonimbus cloud would trigger an instantaneous return stroke.

Unfortunately, triggered lightning is premature discharge and thus the strokes are much weaker than naturally occurring ones. However, you can never predict when and where it will strike!

Triggered lightning would make an interesting weapon, like having the power of Thor at your fingertips!

In science fiction and games, this is often known as an ion painter.

That's a common mistake. See, whatever the screenwriter thinks to scribble takes the vacuum cleaners down, it can be a 10 seconds fart if the director thinks it's a good idea.:colbert:
