I went to bed around 9PM and was up at 1:30AM this morning for work, but I'll probably be in bed by 8 tonight. Am I worthless or really, really awesome in your book, Mayne?

What is wrong with people that need to sleep past their normal waking up times.

You are pretty useless if you can't get up by 7 in the morning.

because i may have a day off.

or be on holiday.

or not well.

or for the hell of it on a weekend.....

wow, i'm lazy given those events, right?

lolololol...

i have got up at 10am on many days and been productive.....and?

Because I'm in chronic pain that smashes any concept of a regular sleep schedule? Even before that I had life-long issues with insomnia.

The time you wake up doesn't matter. It's how you treat the people in your life and what you do with it.

you are a disgusting individual. Did I ever attack you?

Stop posting "attention-whore" threads and those responses might back off some, you the fuck are you or anyone else to judge someone by what time the arise, ever heard of working 2nd shift?, bartending?. Ever think that a person needs some extra "catch-up" sleep from time to time?. That's your issue, you post first, think later.

Spoken like a man who has no friends to go out with on weekends. You don't sleep in because you're lazy, you sleep in because you had fun the night before. It's the same amount of sleep, just started at a later time.

Hey, while you're at work on Monday morning, know that I am sleeping until noon just for you OP...

:p

OK, I got up at 6:30am this morning because I remembered I have kids I need to get on the bus. Yeah, maybe you and lots of other self-righteous people don't realize that everybody has responsibilities, but the truth is if you are at a point in your life where you can sleep late you probably should...

...because those periods in life are fleeting.

Sleep is good for you. You function better and do better work if you get enough sleep.

Wait wait, your first (and so far only) post, was in this thread...out of all the possible threads, you join AT to post here?

I see great things in your future.

10:30 here, do I get up now? Meh...might just lie here for another hour before getting up. Oh so good... I can't remember the last time I've needed an alarm to wake up, it's great!

*yawn* coffee would be nice, but I am that lazy. time to doze off again

I get up around 2:30am for work. So even on weekends when I "sleep in", I still get up around 7 am or so.

But yeah chances are you'll find me sleeping at 2 pm.

I'm working a different schedule for the next couple of weeks, 4AM-12:30PM. That means the latest I can get up and still get to work is 2:30. What time do you usually go to bed getting up that early? I'm finding it a little difficult to get moving when it's still dark outside. lol

Well, I can set the alarm earlier and get up by seven if necessary. You, however, will remain useless no matter what time you get up.

I'm staying up to 2am having fun, so I can sleep in to 10am if I want :colbert:

I hate people even more who complain about having to get up early for work or those who have jobs and wake up at 7am on weekdays but complain if they have to wake up earlier than 8am on weekends.
