my first job at 16 was a Mcducks and on my 30 min break we got a free meal. my favorite was the filet o fish, so I would make my own with a extra squirt of tarter sauce and an extra slice of cheese. so good.

Most fast food is actually decent if those working there give a shit about how it's supposed to be done. For example, fries are supposed to be tossed after 5 minutes but that is rare, in fact most places cook way too much at once so they don't have to deal with cooking more.

Now, you can BUY all of those raw materials in sufficient quantity to make 18 double cheeseburgers, but then you're out $25 and you have to eat 18 double cheeseburgers before all your product spoils.

Have to admit that after a busy day the $5 for 2 big Mac's is tough to beat. That being said, it's not a great idea to do this day in, day out unless mix in some salad's on occasion.

**True story**

When I used to pump gas part time I looked in this overweight guys car. His car was filled with nothing but fast food wrappers and empty coke bottles. He was so big he couldn't even bend over to reach the lever to open his gas door. I had to do it. Oh, and he was chowing down on KFC at 3am! I used to work the midnight shift while attending college.

That experience turned me off to fast food and cola. Maybe it was a good thing because I now like to prep my food for the upcoming week, and i tend to eat healthy. Not always. I am human. But, at least I'm not destroying my body with sh*t food.
