My God, who do they have writing these things? From the LotR rating:

<< PROFANITY 1 - Though unclear, it is possible that there was one scatological term. >>

Your mom needs a clue, that site is for parents with kids 10 and under.

Damn I can't spell.

Worse of all, many of these stupid reviews GIVE AWAY significant parts of the plot! Hell, after reading their summary of Hannibal, I don't even feel like watching the movie anymore. They gave away all the cool parts! :(

OK so your mom is concerned about what you watch?

Millions of other minors should be so lucky!

Understand she does this be cause she CARES ABOUT YOU!

And for all you people who think that his mom is a right wing christian zealot, give it up. Until he is EIGHTEEN and living on his own SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DECIDE what he can and cannot watch!

I wish more parents at least took an interest in what their kids watched and did!

BTW way This Is one of my favorite movies Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

PROFANITY 10 - About 228 F-words (one is spelled out) and a few profane hand gestures, about 69 scatological terms, 73 anatomical references, 34 sexual references, 43 mild obscenities, 3 religious profanities, 16 religious exclamations, many derogatory references to homosexuals, African Americans and Caucasians, and other insults.

I'm guessing you won't get to see that Either!

I've never been told I can't go see a PG-13 movie. Only a few R-rated movies have my parents not given me permission to see (which I don't see). But dude, that site counts the number of F-Word's. They can't be for real :)

those people must really have time if they record every violent scene from Brotherhood of the Wolf. i was hoping for a 10 in the violence category. Some interesting, exaggerated commentary:

A man takes a bath (we see his bare shoulders)
oh no, a bare chested man.

a man and woman kiss, a woman kisses a man, a man and woman flirt in several scenes, and a man kisses a woman's hand
so i'm guessing the parents who go here never kiss in front of the children...

The Beast watches a man from the shadows and follows a man into a dark basement.
yes, that is very gory and violent...

A man and woman walk their goats through a dark pass and they hear growling
again....very gory and violent

Two men use pumpkins for target practice and we see the pumpkins splattering and oozing when they are hit by bullets, arrows and a hatchet
omg, poor pumpkins. they didn't deserve to die.

A man throws knives at a woman while she dances on a stage and she ducks to miss them (it appears to be some kind of game)
if it werent' a game, she'd be running and screaming instead of dancing. never seen knife throwing at a carnival, hmm?

A man eats what looks like some sort of moss and passes out
yes...very violent... can't remember the last time someone was convicted for the violent act of consuming moss.

one man appears inebriated and stumbles a bit.
not very noteworthy

Send this link to your mom and she won't even let you come on AT anymore because she'll think it's having a bad influence on you! Just go watch the movie...there's nothing bad about it. ;)

Jesus, that site is retarded. Under the "violence/gore" section for "I am Sam":

A woman drives recklessly and nearly rear-ends another car
A girl climbs out of her window at night onto a roof and down the side of the house several times.
There are references to child abuse.
A woman runs into a coffee table, yells and kicks a bowl of jelly beans which fly all over her office.
A boy's father berates him in front of his classmates.

This site, and your mom, have serious issues.

Is your mom maybe a Jehovah's Witness, or maybe some kind of Muslim fundamentalists, or something?

edit: this is notfred, on Eshrai's computer... but she agrees with me.

Can't believe someone defended his mom on this issue

He is SIXTEEN...its a PG-13 movie. Which brings up the point of why are you asking your mother if you can watch movies, and what the hell is wrong with her?

Trying to feel sorry for you, but.... nah, I can't. You're 15, so I applaud your mom for caring and saving 2 hours of your life that would have been wasted on F&F. Mom knows best :D.

Interesting site. I think that parents should keep an eye on what their kids are seeing, so I'm glad to see that something so...detailed...exists.

Talk about "detailed"...for "The Patriot" this was listed under "Violence":

A man sits in a rocking chair and it falls apart, knocking him to the floor.

Wow. :)

:) go check out their review on shawshank redemption.

i thought they would flare the part where tim robin's wife and her lover is having sex...
but no mention of that.

SEX/NUDITY 7 - Brief male nudity, in prison shower scenes. Male-on-male rape happens off-screen.

that's it.

what a joke.
