I hate the Redskins, they're like the Yankees of the NFL.

Too bad there is a thing called salary cap in the NFL. So you really can't compare the Yankees to any football team. Their management is smart and can keep everyone under the salary cap.

Oh and this hurts my FF team so bad... there goes all the TDs for Portis 🙁

I know, I didnt mean that they were literally buying the league.

So this means Betts is gonna be 3rd string? Or is TJ Ducket gonna get the 3rd string spot?
 
Redskins doing what they do best; giving away draft picks for mediocre players.

Duckett is in for a rude awakening; the NFC East will be the toughest division in the NFL this season

I'd guess Duckett is going to be the No. 2 guy behind Portis, and I'm thinking they'll try to deal Betts. Otherwise, he's No. 3.

I dont have much room to hate. We have always had a great defense, and there's not much room to improve. And we picked up a QB that we desperetly needed.

Can you guess who "we" is? 😀

Duckett will likely be a backup once Portis gets back. Also, he's in the final year of his rookie contract. He'll be a free agent next year and I doubt the Redskins will be able to sign him with everything else they'll have to sign plus the fact that Duckett wants to be somewhere that he is a starter.

Still, the Falcons had to trade Duckett. They are pretty deep at RB but are thin at the WR and DT positions. I still wish they could find a way to get a big DT for their defense. They are light in the pants along the defensive line.


 
Hmm. I don't see it. Besides the fact there's a salary cap in the NFL, the Yankees usually get highly valued/sought-after players. 😛
 
How are they like the Yankees? The Yankees get normally get results from their moves while the Deadskins remain the Deadskins.
 
If you didn't mean they are buying the league then what did you mean exactly? You mean you hate them because they have a lot of good players? Or you hate them because their fans are from new york? What exactly?

You must be a skin fan. I referred them to the yanks because they are rounding up better than decent players all the time. They do this better than anyone in the league. As a Raven fan, they're our #1 rival, so it's a pain.

Sure, you got McNair, but what's the over/under on how many games he'll last? I doubt he'll make 8 games, especially in that tough division. Best of luck to ya!

True, but at least they got to the playoffs last year (2nd round, too!). I expect at least as much this year.
