Not really. With the weapons they have on offense all they need is somebody competent. Well, they also need to teach Shockey how to catch, but a better QB won't help that problem.

Im not sure if he's practicing yet. But it's gonna be a sick defense when he gets healthy.

Sure, you got McNair, but what's the over/under on how many games he'll last? I doubt he'll make 8 games, especially in that tough division. Best of luck to ya!

He looked pretty strong running in for that 8 yard TD in their 1st preaseaon game against the Giants.

Shouldn't the Steelers or Browns be your rival? Proximity is the only thing making it so, I don?t think the Giants and Jets are #1 rivals. Anyways we are to busy with our cowboys and eagles rivalry to worry about the 'ravens'. I can?t even remember the last time the Redskins and Ravens played each other.

They dont play each other often. The Browns and Steelers are our true rivals, but a lot of Ravens fans consider the Skins to be their biggest rival just because of the distance.

There ya go. Giants #1 rival is EASILY Philly closely followed by Dallas. Then the Skins. Jets/Giants is just for bragging rights, not the biggest rival by far.

I remember it - it was midway through the 2004 season, Gibbs' first year back. I think it was a Sunday or Monday night game. The offense was busy dying on the vine with an immobile Brunell and his severly injured hamstring while a healthy Patrick Ramsey sat holding a clipboard on the sidelines because Gibbs doesn't like QBs under 30. Much as Gibbs is a great Hall of Fame coach, his prejudice for veteran QBs just because they're veterans is a big blind spot. Anyway, the Ravens won a close game in part because, deep in our own territory, Brunell was standing still (as usual) holding on to the ball too long (as usual) and he got blindsided by Ravens safety Ed Reed on a blitz, who then recovered the resulting fumble and ran it in for a score. Ugh....

I'm not a skins fan at all, I just find your analogy inaccurate at best. Whether or not they get talent offseason, and I don't think they have a pattern of doing so anyway, it doesn't even approach what the yankees do. The yankees buy basically any good player on the market. They are also always major contenders for the title. The only similarity is that both teams try to get good players in the offseason, which is true of basically any pro sports team except maybe the golden state warriors.

I don't have a clue how you got the notion that the skins and ravens are major rivals. The ravens haven't even been around long enough to have rivals outside their division.

since when have the ravens and skins been bitter rivals? the skins couldn't give a crap about the ravens.

yes, skins fans hate the ravens and vice versa, but that has more to do with nfc/afc stuff than being rivals. we don't even play you guys in the regular season.
