I have lived in same area for 60 years . I grew up with them . They are my childhood friends.I have zero friends now . Ever since 82 when I told them all to F-- off . I have been happy ever since We had freat times and raised hell to its height . There isn't to many bad things that I haven't done in my youth . I can't think of any sin i haven't done off hand .
The dealer of the bunch would last 1 day in a real prison . The law knows this so they keep letting him deal . Its a strange world we live in and the law is mot equally enforced . Its a crime in itself but thats life I guess, Look at thread the other day about recording cops . He was charged and he judge went along with it . You tell me who belongs behind bars

I hate teenage moms and people with multiple out of wedlock kids. Abortion is legal, get one you moochers.

NO NO NO I wasn't even thinking in those areas . To me those thoughts don't even enter my mind . I see were you got that from tho. Bad on me . Even when I did wrong I never thought contrived anything harmfull or unlawful . I just didn't think my actions had a downside . It was just fun . Sorry about how I stated the other reply . We were hell raisers thats a fact . Point is these men were raised in a way that makes them today and their entire adult life feel they are entitled to government aid. I am sure this is how it works in all poor environments. They just don't think how their actions effect the Body as a whole . The Body being all of us as a singelarity. The government should not support able bodied adults . Its an evil act that brings entitlement into these peoples lives . Shame on us and the government that supports this sort of thing . These programs should never be run at the national level or state level .It is for the communities that are involved so checks and balance can be enforced at the level closest to the problem

My daughter is a single adult . Fact is I asked her to have a child . Married or not . She delivered and I gave her MY blessing . She has since asked if they should marry . I told her when she got my blessing that that infact was marriage . FOR I have Authority over her . No other , The LAW means nothing in this case . NO so called Man of god can say otherwise for none of these have higher authority over her than her Father. Everthing she has as far as the material world belongs to her if they break up . Her children have a very good loving life .

Her eldest son(4) asked me why mom and dad aren't married. I told the child that he was concieved with my blessing and I am her father and that is all that matters for I have authority over my children and no others do. He smiled and said I understand and did say I love you grandpa for you are a wise man. I cried.

Yep. All mid 20s, work in retail, no education, eat take out or pizza every day, have nicer phone than me, constantly battle with companies over billing and how much they owe for stuff. For the most part, it's self inflicted poverty since none of them have kids and medical stuff is free here.

Really my family and our way of life says differantly. Who are you to Judge . Judgement is reserved for the almighty only. Few few people like me./ But they all like my family and my grand children they praise up and down . They often mention to my wife . Your husband cares for these children , How can that be , She just lol and says He treats everryone exactly the same . Including me his children and grandchildren . You know him not . You only know his bite. He does many good things for people you just don't realize it . He is a hard man but a fair man .

Poor is hard to define in the U.S., but I think the OP is talking about the poor living with the entitlement attitude. No desire to fix their station in life and expecting the government to provide clothing, spending money, and a place to live.

I was watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Depp) last night and I was reminded of this thread due to:

-The family is living off cabbage soup and they still buy him a chocolate bar
-Grandpa uses his secret stash of money to buy another chocolate bar
-Charlie finds $10 on the street and blows it on another bar of Chocolate, and forgets to get the change
-They redeem the ticket instead of selling it off

Lesson: poor people are poor because they make poor choices in life.

Funny that . This mourning my daughter was here so as to see the 4 year old on to the pre school bus . As I have this week off from child care.

I was sitting here typing . She came into the room with news paper story and picture of story about free school lunches. She said you see anything strange in that picture . I said No . She said look again . I got a little upset . Look I said I see that they are all hispanic whats your point . She said Don't almost all of the residents work at the same place , I replied Yes they do . I said what you see is people abusing the system just like you did when the eldest was born . So why no whites . I said the whites feel compelled to take care of their own . These people are takers and not givers . Now live with it . I than asked how many hispanics in your pre school class for the eldest that cost YOU $175 dollars a month. She said none . and the people your talking about have the same pay as yourself, Don't you find that odd . She replied He doesn't need pre school for training in schooling its for social reason only . I said thats correct . I than expanded on it for her and the other parents who spend that $175 a month. I said look you drive a new lincon and just purchased a beutiful home in up scale part of town . Are you gioing to stand here befor me and say you could afford this without me and your mothers aid . Aid comes from many sources in your case it comes from family . Not all people get this family help. I said I bought you a brand new mustang when you finished high school than me and ma put ya threw the so called higher education system so you got a degree in computer science . Yet your wages at this time aren't that good . I understand you will advance as do you.

Be thankful for what you have recieved and don't begruge a child a free meal. You want to do something. Get the standards changed as to who gets a free ride . Otherwise shut the hell up . ACT or shut up.
