I hate poor people

I tend strongly toward staying away from them, as do most people with the means to do so. I will probably begin at some point working in soup kitchens or similar, though, as many are decent people who need some help.

BTW, most charities will say it's not time they need, it's money. If you do want to help out the poor and can throw money at them a typical food type place is much going to prefer $100 to a few hours of your time.

I always advocate helping the poor with things like free education, free or subsidized birth control, free abortions, free drug counseling, etc. It's nice to help these people, but at the same time I really hate these bastards. I live somewhat close to the ghetto and my bus passes through the ghetto on the way to work and on the way home. They fit every stereotype imaginable. Scruffy looking? Yes. Sideways hat with shoes that don't fit properly? Check. That crazy look like they could kill someone at any moment? Check.

It seems like the only reason I want to help these people is so they leave me the hell alone. Free abortions so they don't pass on their defective genes, free education so the smarter ones have a chance to escape the ghetto, and drug counseling so something something.

You can't help what your born into ghetto or middle America Try to view the world from their perspective once . Hate is a powerful word . I beleive you meant dislike. Yes we have had in the past programs to help those who are born to such a life escape it . But we have found that it does little in helping them escape that which they were born into . Now we can't afford to keep helping them . Also helping the down and out based on your tax dollars does nothing to help us as far as charity goes . Forced charity is more evil than no charity at all , If charity comes from the heart with no strings . Now you have done good. But to be charitable to a healthy person who doesn't help themselves is also evil. It won't fix the problem .

My Grandpa on my Mom's side was a truck driver and he had 8 kids with my Grandma.

They were poor as fuck but my Grandpa actually worked hard for a living and they never ended up taking any money from the government. He's one of the kindest and most generous people I know and I'd be happy to grow up to be half the man he is.

Your "children" will have to get used to the idea that their future jobs will be outside of the US.
