this reminds me of those aholes who tried to get as many keyboards as they can just to sell them during that logitech give away.

I am confused about this. If I legally purchase 10 hard drives, or 10 cases of oil, or 10 televisions, what exactly makes it illegal for me to sell them at a profit?

So you believe that buying up all the deals to resell makes you a nice guy? In my book it makes you anj asshole.

I never said buying them up to resale! I would of used them or sold them at my cost to friends.
 
It seems that everyone has become like that, buying all the various items to profit. A month back OM had 100 jewel cases FAR, a few days later you look on ebay and there the same cases were (same picture/brand/amount)

Theres no way to control people buying things like this for resale, but it sucks for people that actually wanted to get in on the deal becuase they actually had a USE for it!

On that note, I picked up a 120gb drive from CC earlier today $94.39 AR, the new packaging (plastic) is a pain to open, but the upc is actually INSIDE the plastic case. I'm sure that people will take a box cutter and slice the upc out and still claim that the drive is unopened.

You can take some consolation in the fact that buying at retail (even at a good price) and selling on eBay is not an efficient way to make money. Think of all the time needed to look for hot deals, drive to store, have money tied up in rebates, and listing and managing auctions. In the big picture, you're short one cheap hard drive, and he and his woman are living miserable lives.

Working @ Staples, i see people cheat the system every day... heres just a couple examples

-Guy comes in twice a week... makes over 500 copies in the self serve copier and pays for usualy around 6 copies @ 6 cents

- Lady comes in numerous times saying claiming that she has rebate issues and we credit her right in the store to get her the hell out

-Two guys from canada came in a while back and would buy literrally EVERYTHING in the store that was on clearance, and then use a FAKE 15 off of 40 coupon or sometimes bigger coupon. I caught on after probaly the 4th visit to out store and scared them off. Haven't been back since.

There will always be people that will want to cheat the system... theres nothing really you can do about it unfortanely 🙁

Well won't the people buying it from him off ebay have a use for it? Perhaps they don't live near a bestbuy and that "hoarder" is selling them at a cheaper price than newegg?
