tonight, at about 9:30, i got to watch my best friend get punted about 30 feet across a yard by some fucker in a car doing about 50 down a residential road. he was standing by the sidewalk at the end of his driveway. we all were.

the fuck took off, and left my friend to lay there. the cops caught the scum, insuranceless, liscenseless, and drunk i believe.

my bud's in the hopsital now with a leg that's bent backwards (broken tib and fib, leg was facing the wrong way), concussion, and some spinal injuries. i was two feet away from him for this. he's in a wheelchair for months from how i understand it.

probably the scariest thing of my life. im still shaking and we just got home from the hospital.

dont fucking drink and drive. if i could have gotten to his gun in time i would have shot the dumb fuck as he was driving down the street.

Yeah, hope this fucker gets burned...bad...

My fiance a couple years back was hit and killed by a truck, drug for 10 miles in the wheel well of the truck that hit her and the driver dumped her body at an overpass...the driver last I heard is only getting 2 years if that for "failure to stop and render aid"...the justice system could work or it can completely fuck you. Sick of this countries judicial system!!!

Months of depression and heavy weed use. Eventually moved from Lubbock, TX back to the good ole Atlanta, GA with the folks...couldnt stand being there anymore. Id say Im much better now, time heals all, but not a day goes by that I dont think of her...she'll truly be missed forever. Sucks.
 
and to make it worse, i have to go identify the car tomorrow. you know how fucking scared i am about doing that? the driver was a 6'5+ black guy. fuck this.

im going to the hospital tomorrow for his surgeries, and im definitely not sleeping tonight. im just...ugh....wtf.

the REALLY shitty part is, is dad is an EMS driver, and guess who had to take the call that his 21 year old son got hit by a car in front of his house? ....yeah.
 
Damn. This is another reason why I don't drink... :| Inhibitions will be relaxed and what I thought of being extremely deadly and stupid might be otherwise while under the influence of alcohol...

What do you have against Mexicans?? I simply asked if the driver was a US citizen. I'm sorry I should have asked if he was in the US legally. Whenever I am traveling abroad I obey the laws and make sure I meet whatever insurance requirements they have. I only ask because I was in a bad car accident several years ago where I was hit by a drunk driver, uninsured, no license, in the US illegally. My condolences to your friend I hope he makes a full recovery and has insurance that will pay regardless of the other party. I'm sorry you feel you have to resort to name calling I wasn't trying to instigate anything I was just curious if the other driver was in the US legally.

If you mention he was breaking several laws, and I ask if he was breaking another law, that is inappropriate? Please explain.

What was she doing when she got hit and did the truck driver know he hit her and was dragging her? I'm guessing it wasn't 100% the truck drivers fault since he only got 2 years. Dumping her body at an overpass? That is just sick, the driver should be serving a sentence of at least 5 years just for trying to hide and dispose of a body like that. If somebody did that to someone I loved, I think I would honestly hunt that person down and kill them like Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen.

Look up Krisine Bufkin...Lubbock, Texas...

Her car got rolled (probably drunk, I know she went out that night before I got off work) and I know she was walking along the road...she may have been above legal alcohol limit but she could handle her shit...anyways, woman hit Kristine and claimed she thought it was a "deer" or something...even though according to police her leg was visibly noticeable as it was near the truck antenna. Also, the truck got fucked up bad...like busted radiator...everything. It would also appear that the woman that hit my fiance also knew her as well...Id never met her, but according to police reports and what not they had been known to one another...

Anyways, after dragging her for roughly 10 miles she pulled over and called two male friends of hers to pry her body out of the truck and dumped her body under and overpass on the other side of town. I just read now as I looked her up again that she is getting 10 years now after a 2nd trial was had. She'll have a parole hearing in 2 1/2 years...after she plead guilty to murder...wtf is that shit?

Kristine was 25 with one son, Blaze.
