I've never done that before.

*edit* It sounds like you guys are feeling the same about my initial take on this job
and don't think its worth it.

Boss practically gave you an out. $8/hr jobs with no medical benefits are a dime a dozen. Might as well find one thats easy or you at least enjoy instead.

Yup, you can make that flipping burgers. At least there you wouldn't be expected to do anything but mess up orders and occupy space. Plus, you could eat for free.

No one deserves that. Quit NOW, then take the time to write down the exact same things you said here, and email or mail them to the manager.

Why bother? They aren't going to call her up and go "We love you afterall! Just kidding! Here's $2,000 signing bonus and dental and vision!"

I say you just don't show up tomorrow and act like this whole thing never happened.

Maybe it will have an affect on them, knowing just how rude and nasty they were. Who knows? Maybe it gets into the owners hands and keeps this from happening to the next person they hire?

And it's just the right thing to do - I'm not one for simply not showing up - that's a pussy move.

I ended up drafting a very diplomatic email which they then replied to
in a very cordial "as if nothing happened" manner.

Well at least that's over with.....*sigh*

On to better things I hope.

thanks guys for all your support! AT Rules!! :D
