If she expects you to wine and dine her because she's 'used to it', dump her now and save yourself the headache.

The person in charge of hiring or any managers up the chain, were they in the military as well?

Its agovernment job. They go by a ranking or point system usually. You get x number of points for being ex-military and x more for being a veteran. YOu then get points based on experience. Good for ex-servicemen who deserve it, but sucks for someone like me who was medically disqualified from being the the military. But that hasn;t really caused any problems where i work <---- govt job.
