Bank error in Bank's favor
I keep a close eye on my bank balance and recently it's been erratic. Note my thread about what bills not to pay?
My bank Hudson City Savings Bank recently changed its website and the information is now all messed up. I print out my statements (they don't send statements any more) and it turns out that my printouts don't match the information on the website. There's quite a bit of money that has disappeared from my account. I went over to the bank and yelled at them today - they looked up my account info on a totally different computer system and it had yet another set of numbers.
Worst thing is that they haven't credited me with my last two monthly disability payments. I contacted Social Security and they sounded like they were seriously upset. Maybe I'll find out what's going on?
Anyway, who can recommend a bank that has accurate account information online? And doesn't have ridiculous fees?
Thanks.
