I hate mini vans

I hate them as well. No one needs that much road.
To top it off, most people who drive minivans are either ditzy housewives or "Ned Flanders" suburbanites who drive 10mph below the speed limit.

No I don't minivans are less agile on the road. They cannot turn corners are quickly.
But if you're talking about the giant Chevy Tahoes, then yes. But not all SUVs are road hogs. However, all minivans are road hogs.
And the people who drive them are suburban morons.

Has anyone noticed a larger percentage of minivan drivers being aggressive drivers? I don't know if I'm projecting, or anything, but it seems to me that a ton of them will get right on your ass. And then there are the drive-like-an-old-lady-minivan-drivers. Other than the aggressive drivers and the slowpokes, however, I don't have a problem with them.

hmm my minivan makes every turn i need it to. i do not expect it to handle like my little car i drive.
its a mini-van. people who have t hem usually have kids. you should not be driving like a maniac anyway.
for us the minivan is perfect. 2 kids and i take care of 2 others during the week. also on trips to the grandparents we need the room teh van gives us.
just wish it got better gas miliage then 22MPG . heh i miss my little cars.
they are so stupid looking like a big elk turd pile with wheels. soooooooooooooooo slow too. they do like 0-60 in about 75 minutes.

A minivan driver backed into the side of my car a couple years back. It was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw. I was stopped in the parking lane (which was backed-up due to traffic), and I watched as she got into her car and backed right into me. I was like WTF? And then her Costco insurance took 4 weeks to settle what should have been a straightforward claim.
So yeah, minivans suck!

that i agree with.
they are ugly. as for the speed again its a mini van not a sporty car. i do not expect good acceleration or cornering. i would also NOT try to do either.
its a vehicle that gets my family around in conmfert. also whith my phsycial problems (bad hip and knees) it is far easyer to get in and out of the van.
i do wish they were not so ugly and boxey. but they are not as bad as a full size or a astro van. blah
No I don't think you need the room, people like you "create" the need, although it's not really a need. Kids born 1990 - present are spoiled brats and their parents give in to them. Why do they need a huge mini-van with LCD TVs, bags of toys, and other crap for a roadtrip? When I was a kid, I sat in the cramped back seat of a small car, usually with just a pad and a few markers and sat quietly on long road trips. Didn't need TVs, bags of toys, 4 suitcases, and other similar crap.
For kids today it's "bring this, bring that." And the housewives of today are just like the kids, practically bring with them EVERYTHING in the house for a simple trip.
Suburbanites of today are NEUROTIC.
Edit: And you people drive WAY too slow, step on the gas. You're paranoid.

The only thing I hate about minivans are true about all cars - the assholes that drive them. I do see a fairly large number of minivan drivers feel like they need to be Dale Earnhardt Jr. and race around everywhere, but there's a similar percentage among most drivers in other vehicle types.
I did have one...interesting minivan experience in Vegas. This one taxi we took back to the hotel, the Indian guy drove this thing like a goddamned race car. He only knew how to use the pedals in one of two ways: all the way down or completely off. Floor it up to this turn or this light, jump on the brakes as hard as possible to make the turn or corner, jump on the gas again as soon as possible. He did this the whole way and at one point made me worried the van was gonna roll or something. But he got us there might quick
What an original position to take. I mean, it's only been in the least ~10 years or so that millions of other people have come to hate the idea of the mini van so much that they buy the biggest gas guzzling trucks they can find in a desperate and transparent attempt to convince the world that they're not indeed hauling 1.5 kids around in what amounts to a ginormous mini van.
