I hate little gas tanks.

the pos saturn i drive gets about a little over 250, ive gotten to 290 but i had no gas left wahtsoever, i was afraid it was gonna die before i got to the gas station near my house. Oh yea, it has a 12 gallon tank, or about that. :Q wish i had a car that got better mileage. I have an old '71 2002 but its still waiting for me to get a good enough job to fix it up and learn stick cause im lazy. 😀

damn, sentra sucks - i can go 420 miles on a full tank from NYC to Buffalo (civic si w/13.3 gal tank).

i think the max has like an 18 gallon tank... thats luxury right there. doesn't get bad mileage either.

sentras suck ass.

I think my 1997 Civic had a 11.9 gallon tank. Just way too small for any car even one that can do 30+ mpg. Even worse was my 1998 Ford Contour. While it had a 14.5 gallon tank, it achieved about 22mpg. I never got more than 315 miles on a tankful. My 2001 Accord has a 17.1 gallon tank but it seems smaller because the gas light goes on when there are less than 4 gallons in the tank. It's a bit conservative.

The most I've ever gotten out of a tank was 406 miles, which oddly came from a 1986 Accord.

I used to drive a '94 Mitsubishi Galant... It has a 16.9 Gallon tank and gets about 28MPG so it'd get about 100 miles more than what you're getting. I drove a Cadillac Fleetwood before that and it got around 350 miles per tank. I'd say you're getting the average. You could always get a truck with 2 gas tanks...Ford used to sell a lot of them.

14.9 gallon tank in my old Accord IIRC. I've never put more than 13 gallons in the tank (I top it off every time), and the farthest I've gone is about 430 miles (34 mpg at a steady 65, exclusivelt interstate driving). My normal range is about 325 on a tank in mixed driving (average 28-30 mpg). I think that's pretty dang good range.

<-- my Accord sucks. And I thought it was a 14 gallon, not a 15 gallon tank in the 88-89 Accords? If that's the case then I get even worse gas mileage than I thought - I barely top out at 19mpg, now that I drive on the highway almost everyday about 24.

18 gallons here. Longest I drove on 1 tank was 472miles going to San Diego from Tucson.
Ran on the fumes the last few miles before the gas stations re-appeard again.

97 Olds Regency with 3.8l V6, ~26mpg on highway.
😎

I get about 300miles out of a mostly city, some highway, driving on a 12 gallon tank. I've done over 400miles highway driving. Then again it's only an 01 so the engine is in good shape.

I wish my Civic had a bigger tank as well.
I get about 350-370 max. I have to fill up twice a week...

98 Hyundai Elantra - capacity is 14.5 gallons, I went 412 miles once with a couple of gallons to spare (all highway though). Mixed driving (highway+city), the furthest I've gone is about 375 miles.

I have a decent sized tank in my car (2001 camry). But it really doesn't matter since I don't drive too much here in Pittsburgh (no where to go and I usually take public transportation in the city). I only had to get gas three times in one year. :Q

*goes down to the garage to get the manual from his '88 Accord* Actually, I was wrong. It's a 15.9 gallon tank. But in my experience even when the guage is on "E" there are still 3.9 gallons left in the tank. The fuel guage is rather pessimistic.

I love my 75 gallon tank. Takes up the whole drivers side of my truck from cab to rear axle.

I get about 360 in my dakota w/ a 22 GAL tank.

My wife has a neon and gets about 15mpg because she never leaves town and lets it get warm before she leaves:Q

WHen we moved from San Diego to MN my mom drove the neon out while my dad and I drove the UHAUL. On one long run she got 45 MPG:Q😀

I think I spent less in her whole trip than I spent one filling up that damn diesal Uhaul.

I had an old Austin Healey Sprite that had a 7.5 gallon gas tank.
With a 57 CID engine and a weight of 1316 lb. it still got around 300 miles on a fill-up.
Of course, your ass, spine and everything else would start to hurt long before you got close to that distance.

I get not more then 200 miles on my 88 hyundai. the tank is ridiculously small, I usually put in around 10 bucks to fill it up from empty. At present, i'm commuting about 50 miles each way to work

lets just say i'm getting to be good friends with the local gas station attendant. 😱

I think my IS300 has a 18.4 Gallon Tank..

IT costs about 26 bucks in NJ to fill up Full ( about 16.4 gallons ) since it has about 2 gallons after the light comes on..

I get about 375-425 Depending on the type of driving I do

Well, have my 34 gallon tank in my chevy... damn that bastard is mean on gas 🙁

right now, I have about 70 miles on the trip meter (from when i filled it up to FULL) and now I'm at between 1/2 and 3/4 🙁

it gets 400 miles to a full tank of gas (sometimes more) but this time I was hauling our new trailer and other stuff so it ate it up...
