Just because I drive a 93 sentra doesn't mean I like the little 12.5 gallon gas tank. Most I ever got out of it was 395 miles on the highway before filling up, but generally with AC off and most highway driving I end up filling around the 340 mile mark, which is a major pain in the ass. I find myself constantly filling up and because of this naturally I drive until it's running on fumes. Why can't they give econoboxes a few extra gallons :|

I may put a big tub in the trunk of like 20 gallons and have it as a secondary tank built into the primary, kinda like the V8 that mel gibson drove in Road Warrior. :Q

buy a hybrid. at 12.5 gallons you could go somewhere in the neighborhood of 875 miles. (Assuming 70 mpg)

Skoorbie, you think that is bad, try my Expedition... Gets 12mpg, has a 30 gallon tank, so I also only get about 350 miles per tank, but it costs a LOT more to fill up! :p

50 grasshopper points for you! Making fun of your man's wheels, now that takes balls... :p

BTW, many years ago I owned a '93 white Sentra, nice car actually... :D The only real danger with cars like that these days is if they get run over by trucks like mine!

I feel your pain. I drive a 94 Altima that doesn't hold any more gas than your car. I can get 12 gallons into it if I run the tank nearly dry....that's it. The spec sheet says the tank is bigger than that, but that's all the gas it will hold. Pretty annoying on long road trips since it limits the range between fillups to roughly 350 miles.

My mustang only has like a 12.5 gallon tank. It cost me like 18 bucks to fill it up every 200 miles, so im filling it up like everything 3 days and it annoys the hell outta me 2, plus it costs alot....

My Eldorado has a 16 gallon tank, but, according to my odometer (which is off), I am only going like 240 miles per tank. Which equates into 15mpg. And it costs $27 to fill up- must use premium.

Get in 18 wheeler with 500+ gallon long range tanks. Not hauling a load that thing will get you cross country on a fill up of diesel. :)

I have a 27.5 gallon tank and I need premium. DOH!

I have a Escort GT with a 13.2 gallon tank, 31mpg and around 390 on a tank. But the wife's Benz gets 22mpg and it's a little over 25 gallon tank and will take about $40.00 of premium to fill it up.

I'd rather pay for gas than a new engine and a new tranny which both blew in under 100k on my 4 banger i had before this car.

That's what you get with a domestic :) My sentra has 161k and is going strong. Plus 100k miles costs about $5k extra in gasoline on a 15 mpg beast than a 30 mpg econobox.
